The ACDSee software logo design is an iconic logo with a symbol of an “eye” and a simple font treatment. It is unusual to see such a clip art style logo for such a long standing and popular logo software company. The eye might have been created uniquely for ACD company but it does look like a clip art image. The font selected for the company name is not too exciting either.
The ACDSee logo updated to the more web 2.0 logo style that many of the software companies are using these days. The new logo sports the same eye but in a more abstract manner. The small letters in the company name signify a modern approach. The change from the florecent green to a more modern orange is a smart choice.
