The Actis Systems software logo design is a traditional kind of logo with simple logo icon of a star cutting a dark circle. The arms of the star are skewed to one side creating the effect of motion and signifying the dynamic nature of the company and it’s product offering. The font for the company name is quite a normal off the shelf font. The two words of the company are differentiated by thickness.
I like this logo. They have taken a very simple shape – the star – and turned it into a brand icon. I also like the dynamic nature of the icon.
