The Arts and Entertainment channel, A&e TV, has been around for a long time now. Their identity has pretty much remained unchanged for almost 22 years or so. For a great number of years it went by its full name but later switched to the acronym and the quite stylish A&e logo that you see above.
A&e channel is the flagship of the A&E Television Networks Group which includes the History and the Biography TV channels.
The strong A and E integrated with a negative space that forms the ampersand is quite impressive. It is instantly recognizable, partly because it is such a big company but also because of the simplistic nature of the A&e logo.
The latest incarnation of the A&e logo is a 3D logo design version as seen on their website. Check out the A&e Channel website.
