Allis-Gleaner Corporation (AGCO) is a leading global manufacturer of agricultural equipment, offering a full line of tractors, combines, hay tools, sprayers, forage and tillage equipment, which are distributed through more than 2,800 independent dealers and distributors in more than 140 countries worldwide.
The AGCO food logo design is a simple iconic logo that shows a triangle/pyramid shape with serrations that are link paths or roads in diagonally. The logo color used to be orange but has now been changed to maroon. With the tagline “You Agricultural Company”, AGCO has been servicing the agricultural industry since 1990.
I really do not like this logo since it does not relate to agriculture or agriculture equipment. Neither the logo color, the shape of the icon or the font treatment do justice to the brand. The road or paths that were draw diagonally do indicate progress does not really indicate progress. It would have been better for a travel or transport logo. A pyramid or triangular icon would better suit a finance logo design.
