Producing cool graphics software since 1993, Alien Skin Software made the first drop shadow filter for Photoshop. Since then, Alien Skin Software creates awesome tools for photographers and graphic designers. Just like their cool software, they also have an awesome and cool logo software. Actually, this is one of my favourite logos.
The Alien Skin software logo design is a simple iconic logo that shows the silhouette of a cute looking alien creature in a casual stance, it’s elbow resting on the words “Alien Skin Software” that are stacked in 3 layers.
I like this logo because of the cute alien image, created by a professional logo maker, the attitude expressed in the design and the layout. Of course, they are lucky to have a cool name like Alien Skin for their company so they could build on the alien theme. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Alien Skin produces the Eye Candy series of Photoshop plugins for graphic designers and tools like Exposure and Swap Art for photographers.
