‘General Announcements’

Finally, after two arduous weeks, we have finally managed to complete the move from our old smaller office to a much bigger office and logo design studio. Even though the new office is in the same building, because of our 45 computers and 8 servers, it proved to be quite a challenge.

We have been growing steadily for the past two years and since the introduction of our software development team, our office was bursting at the seams. Our logo designers had to manage with with very limited space and even though we had an open floor plan, this limited space led to decreased productivity.

We started looking around for a bigger office since January 2008 and could not find the right one for many months. We wanted more space but we were keener to get an office that offered us state of the art of facilities including high speed broad band and a gym. Finally we had to convert an existing space into the kind of office we wanted. This refurbishment process went on for a couple months and finally we were ready to make the move.

Just like Holiday Inn, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, and the GOP, we are also implementing some re-branding initiatives here in Logo Design Works. As you know, re-branding takes different forms ranging from a simple logo design makeover to dramatic changes in marketing strategies, brand name, long-term objectives, or taking new directions.

Here, it’s all about saying goodbye to our wonderful logo…

And welcoming the new face of Logo Design Works…

Our new logo shows the world and the “L” shaped ribbon entwining around the world. It symbolizes our new direction to expand globally while maintaining our strong presence in the U.S. market. We are now offering our expertise in the following countries:

  1. Australia
  2. France
  3. Singapore
  4. United Kingdom

More importantly, this global expansion will allow us to maximize our core competence – more personal attention to our dear customers to ensure total satisfaction with our services.

We also understand our cultural differences in the midst of globalization. Our partners across different continents will further help customers develop more culturally-relevant designs without sacrificing the global perspective.

We will provide more details about this new development and we thank you for your continued support to Logo Design Works. For now, please feel free to share your thoughts about our new logo design.

We used to have a news/blog section for a number of years powered by Blogger. But over the years we lost sight of why we had the news/blog in the first place. A few bright individuals in the company thought it was a good idea to use that section for optimization.

Bad idea. To cut the long story short, our news/blog section became so big and so chaotic that it started hurting our website ranking rather than help. So we have now decided to start a fresh new blog with only one purpose – to blog about the ins and outs of running a logo design business. We would like to use this section to talk about our logo design projects, new trends, news and other useful logo design resources.

Hopefully we will be able to create a useful resource for both our customers and other designers.
