PUNCH is a retail store located North of San Francisco, specialized in selling clothing for men and women, and was trying to appeal to to a broader demographic of customers (think the GAP store) when it approached Logo Design Works to create a brand new clothing logo design for their brand.

PUNCH include a basic line, and further along the way, they would start to introduce more up-scale collections (think Banana Republic), as well as a baby, kids, and teen’s collection. The logo we would create would be in all their products (think polo by ralph lauren).

Competing against heavy hitters like Gap, Banana Republic, Polo, Old Navy, A&F, American Eagle, etc., PUNCH had it’s work cut out. They needed to make an impact with their branding starting with a fortune 500 logo design. They needed the logo to reflect the fact that PUNCH was ready to take on the big guns and provide high quality clothing. It had to have a timeless classic appeal to it while being modern at the same time. A tough ask, especially for such a modest budget. Our prices are quite competitive but because of our in depth knowledge of branding and marketing, some times we do help our clients understand how their can structure their brand strategy based on the recommendations set forth from our initial design concepts.

The name PUNCH was inspired by the puppet Mr. Punch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punch_and_Judy) and the client wanted to see if the logo would include some of that history and bright colors mixed with something more classical (such as the shield logo from the plaza hotel in NY). The client was not sure as to how to combine these two elements, but it is the basic idea they came to the table with and the story behind the branding and corporate image of Punch.

We created a series of designs for the client based on the Punch character but it transpired that the direction of Punch and Judy did not lend well to a company hoping to brand as a fortune 500 company. So, the client paid for additional concepts and wanted us to take an entirely different direction. They wanted us to focus more on the upscale brands and online boutique logos of central London. After a little but of research, we came up with a few design concepts that included a double horned rhino and a superbly elegant font treatment.

The client immediately liked this direction and after a few minor tweaks finalized the logo design.

Tactical Wear Online is a Tactical Police & Military Performance Wear and accessories company that wanted a cool looking logo design for their online store.

Their main line is Under Armour Performance wear designed specifically for Law Enforcement & Military personnel. They are adding additional lines such as Camelbak (Gloves, hydration systems) holsters etc.

The client wanted a stunning corporate identity that was text Based logo as well as a symbol based logo that had a High Tech, Abstract/Artistic and Cutting Edge look and feel. Since their their target customers are Police Tactical units, police in general, bike patrols, Military general, Military special forces, the client wanted an eagle or an army guy as the main icon which had a patriotic theme.

They were also looking for a colorful logo for the back of a shirt (portrait) and a left chest and hat design (landscape) with possibly a waving flag in the background and silhouette of armed police and military personnel.

We came up with a bunch of different concepts that included emblem and army patch like design sporting silhouettes of army guys, eagles, patriotic stars and stripes. The client was blown away with the variety of creative logo ideas that our logo design team came up with. The client chose a concept that had a silhouette of an army guy aiming through his weapon with a swoosh surrounding the design. Even the swoosh is a little dated, the client felt that their target market would appreciate this design more.

After the logo design was completed, we also create a flash logo animated version that the client currently uses on their website. The flash logo can be seen below as well as on their website.

A little while ago, Chadron State College approached Logo Design Works to rebrand their athletics logo. They had a Chadron Eagles logo that they were not too happy with and wanted a mark that would stand out. Inspired by the Simpson University Mascot that we created, Logo Design Works was the perfect choice.

Logo Design Works worked with the marketing director of Chadron State College and came up with stunning logo concepts based on extensive research into the Chadron State College Athletics team, their values and philosophy and the arenas in which the college team participates.

Chadron State College is located in western Nebraska. They had an official college logo that they were looking to rebrand with more of an athletic mascot “logo”. They were in RMAC conference, Division 2 NCAA and had used the Eagle as the mascot since the founding of the college in 1911.

Targeting Current Students, Alumni, Faculty/Staff, Prospective Students, Sports enthusiasts and Professional teams for recruiting and competing against the likes of New Mexico Highlands, Adams State – Colorado, Colorado Mines, Mesa State – Colorado Logo Design, Fort Lewis – Colorado, Nebraska-Kearney, Western State – Colorado, the new logo had to make an impact.

After we presented the committee with a bunch of logo concepts featuring some fierce looking eagles, the clients wanted to incorporate a “C” and the resulting design was finalized. Click here to read about the launch of the new logo on Chadron State College website.

The United States Marshals Service contacted Logo Design Works back in March of 2009 to help create an identity for it’s new unit NSOTC under The Sex Offender Investigations Branch. Logo Design Works created an amazing logo design for NSOTC and proud to have worked with such a distinguished organization.

NSOTC or National Sex Offenders Targeting Center’s mission is to enforce the provisions of the Adam Walsh Act which makes it a Federal crime to fail to register as a convicted sex offender. This division locates and arrests unregistered offenders and brings new federal charges against them.

Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as well as various members of INTERPOL are the target audience, in addition to other components of the Federal Government.

They work hand in hand with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to target the worst offenders and provide intelligence and support to various law enforcement agencies. To reflect this serious mission, NSOTC needed a serious logo that was simple, light weight and still be eye catching.

The Logo Design Team came up with a few different logo concepts right off the bat focusing in the fact that this was a part of the US Marshals Service, a government agency logo. Concepts included icons of shields, eagles and badges. The client liked one direction that had a framing of “National Sex Offender Targeting Center” under NSOTC, combining the idea of a target concept without it looking too much like a bulls eye.

While the client wanted to portray themselves as an entity that targets and tracks down these offenders, they didn’t want it to seem like all they wanted to do is shoot them. They wanted to give the identity a human tough to reflect their humane methods and policies.

After a few revision rounds the client finalized the logo which you can see above.

Through leadership coaching & consulting they work both with leaders and organizations to clearly develop their goals and objectives, identify and create cultures to sustain long-term peak performance, and maximize the use of individual strengths and organizational competencies. They especially enjoy working with individuals and organizations which value integrity, customer enthusiasm, high performance, and possess both the desire and the ability to accomplish great things.

Targeting individuals who want to achieve greatness, Great Minds wanted a logo that was totally different from the competition. A quick research into what the competition were using for their Education & Training logos, revealed that most were going for text based logo designs with little or no graphical icons. Colors used in the logos were also quite muted and on the whole quite understated. Considering the client’s request to make the company totally stand out, we decided to take a very visual approach to this logo design project.

We created several logo designs which included bold graphics, bright colors and a distinctly web 2.0 logo design look and feel. A couple of these concepts had an abstract human face and a hint of the “brain” and thought process. The client was immediately drawn to this direction and the final logo as you can see above is made of a bold image of an abstract human head with an abstract brain indicating thought. The colors used were striking and had quite an impact.

The font selection and placement was also carefully considered to make sure the audience undertook the professional nature of the company. A modern typeface was selected to lift the design and create a contrast between the bright and bold icon and the cold professional font treatment. The client then used the logo efficiently in their branding efforts including their website and marketing materials.

As seen in the top 10 florist logos, flower logo designs are quite difficult to get right. The flower logo design should be elegant and eye catching at the same time. In the crowded marketplace of online flower delivery, it is quite a challenge coming up with a flowers logo design that would stand out with out being brash or cheesy.

For this client – First Class Flowers logo design, we came up a unique and elegant solution to tie in the notion of flowers that can be ordered first class and come up with the full first class treatment.

First Class Flowers is a online company intent on providing a first class flower delivery service specifically marketed to young professionals who have an interest in mileage points and travel. The target area would be New York, especially Manhattan. Unlike the usual online flower service, First Class flowers goes beyond just sending flowers out and includes tying air miles reward points benefits. Since the target market was young professionals who fly frequently, the client wanted a semi-serious design that exuded elegance and upscale.

We had already done some work for this client in the past, specifically creating flower shop logo designs for other flower deliver websites that the client owned. This particular project however was more challenging than the rest. The client initially wanted a tie in to an airplane to hint at the reward points idea. We came up with a few designs that had flowers and airplane outlines. However, as the project progressed, it was clear that having an airplane in the design was not such a good idea since the message looked confusing. So, we dropped that idea and started focusing on the “first class” theme which represented the first class mail service as well as first class seating on an airplane.

So we came up with ideas that included postage stamps, abstract airline related imagery and flowers. The client selected this design which has a postage stamp with some flowers on it framed by a date stamp that had flowing lines to indicate air flow or air travel. The muted colors and the professional font completed the design.

Affordable American Air Conditioning and Heating logo design was created for our client located in Huston, Texas who wanted an all American looking logo design.

Affordable American Air Conditioning and Heating Company services and installs Air conditiong and heating equipment in Huston and other major cities in Texas. To create this Texas logo design, and with the limited information give to us by the client, our logo designer, had to rely solely on research into the market segment and previous experience working with heating companies identities.

Using the red and blue of the American flag colors, our logo designers created 10 different logo concepts for this client. An abstract heating and snow flake symbol was used in one of the concepts. In another, red and blue arrows to indicate warm and cold air was used in the service logo design.

In yet another logo design idea, red and blue abstract logo waves of air were used which later was selected and became the final logo design. The trick with creating service oriented logos is that the designer has to take into consideration the potential uses of the logo. Usually, the logo wold be used on a utility vehicle such as a service van. So it is important to show the client mock ups of the designs on a van to give the logo some context.

VersaFiber, a renewable fiber company located in Nebraska City 68410 (Nebraska logo design), extracts fibers from agricultural crops such as corn stalks, wheat stalks, cotton stalks etc. These fibers can be used in multiple products from boats to tissues.

VersaFiber’s customers are companies that make a certain product using fibers and most of them are Fortune 500 companies.

VersaFiber have a unique product and their competitors are the manufacturers of Jute and Hemp fibers.

The client wanted the V to look like wheat and corn. They also wanted to see a few concepts with the Versa one color and the Fiber a different color. Also, requested were a few concepts with Versa and Fiber two different fonts.

Under the VersaFiber logo design, the client wanted to have a tag line, “The Renewable Fiber Solution”.

Armed with this information our logo designers came up with a few concepts utilizing ideas of wheat and corn as well as playing with the letter V. The colors used were earthy yet bright. The client immediately liked the concepts and proceeded to ask for variations of a combination of 2 or 3 different concepts.

The result is the logo you see above which looks modern and still retains the earthy and traditional look. Using warm colors, the design communicates the message of a friendly company that is trying to redefine the way manufacturing companies brand themselves in the agricultural logos world.

After the logo was completed, Logo Design Works created matching business card design and other stationery design items such as letterhead design and envelope design. Again using a simple design and watermark of the wheat and corn, the business card looks simple and elegant.

SouthWest Security is an Ireland based security company installing intruder alarms, cctv, access and fire alarms for both commercial and domestic customers. With tough competition from security companies such as ADA Security, Quirke Security, O’loughlin Security and Sure Alarms, South West Security wanted a unique and different kind of logo design.

The client wanted a symbol which showed strength and trust, and the kind of security the target market is looking for. The solution we came up with was a symbol which combined the essential elements to depict security, cleverly integrating an eye and a keyhole into the company initial “S”.

We have created several security logos in the past including how Security Logos Can Improve Your Conversion Rates, Citywide Security Group Logo Brand Identity, Home Security Company Logo.

ANV (A New View), one of our clients, was starting up an new Consulting/Coaching Business where they provide a variety of solutions to corporations around Sales Leadership and Executive Coaching, Mid Management Coaching, Motivational Solutions, Hiring Talent, Training, Team Building, Sales Conference Event Planning, etc in Golden, Colorado 80403. However, they are a bit unique in that they provide both tradional services and alternative approaches and a “A New View” into the tradional programs being currently offered today.

Servicing businesses ranging from approx. 50 employees up to around 5000 employees, the client wanted a fresh approach. Some thing that is totally different from the competition. The client did not want to associate any kind of human abstract icons to show team work or employees etc.

The client wanted a font based logo that did not have a separate graphic icon. They also wanted us to use muted colors. So our logo designer set to work on the project a little apprehensively since the requirement was highly restrictive. However, they welcomed the challenge and set to work researching the current motivational coaching industry to see the kind of branding taking place. What they realized was that most of the company logos in this industry were quite dated and looked unprofessional.

Of course the bigger companies did have good branding in place, as usual. It was the smaller businesses that lacked the polish and professional implementation of their logo designs. So, we came up a few concepts that were text based logo designs but were quite polished and elegant. The client picked the above concept and went straight for the final files with our further revisions or changes. The client felt that the design represented their unique take on the coaching business and felt it would help them create a successful brand.

Micro-Ant is an antenna design, development and manufacturing company. The company designs antennas for specific applications for companies that integrate the antennas in completed systems usually for the end user. The designs are all unique and they adapt their intellectual property for the specific use of the customer. They typically reduce the size and cost of the antenna and improve the performance as opposed to the customer’s other solution. They rarely compete with other suppliers since they are not in the business of supplying a commodity product. Their typical customer is a system’s integrator like Hughes,Harris, Lockhead, Draper, etc.

The client already had an existing brand and wanted us to redesign their logo. After a brief discussion, we suggested to the client that rather than a logo makeover, it would be better to start from scratch and define the corporate philosophy and then distill that into a new logo. The customer was happy with this suggestion and after a couple of days of corporate soul searching came back to us with a brand new brief and company business mission statement.

Armed with the company new mission statement, our logo designer set to work researching and brainstorming for ideas. A bunch of logo concepts were developed for the client, some involving an 8 legged robotic ant (from a suggested 3D logo mockup by the client) to a few more subtle yet effective designs. The client finally selected the concept seen above. The engineering logo is shows an icon of an abstract antenna with waves emanating outwards. The font selected was quite modern and cutting edge to reflect the cutting edge equipment that the client provides. Metallic grey and red were used to give the design a web 2.0 logo style.

Knit Nurse, a company based in Phoenix, Arizona 85016, designs, creates and sells transparent plastic containers called “Knit Kits” that include but not limited to knitting needles, patterns, yarns and other accessories. Targeting beginner to expert knitters, Knit Nurse plans to distribute the kits via outlets such as gift shops, hospital logo, airports, web site etc.

Knit Nurse client approached Logo Design Works for a non-traditional logo design that would be retro styled and different from what is already out there. The client wanted some type or types of knitting components (i.e. yarn, needles…) to be incorporated into the logo. The style had to be reminiscent of the 60′s diners with a very simple logo color scheme (black, white and possible one other color). Knitting theme needed to dominate the logo and wanted the website address located somewhere within the logo.

True to our hassle free logo design process and based on the client input and the research into the knitting industry, our logo designer came up with a few stunning concepts including the final selected design you see above. We took the 60s diner style and used a non-symetrical shape to enclose the whole logo. With in the shape, we used a customized font by tweaking the “K” and the ending “e” to look like knitting needles. Surrounding the brand name is a yarn thread that originates from a yarn ball that peeks out of the shape. Just below the logo is the company website address.

We also created matching stationery design for the client including business card design, letterhead design and envelope design.

Amber Rogers, an extraordinarily talented photographer approached Logo Design Works to create a stunning photography logo for use on her website and as watermark on photos that she publishes online. We took a quick look at work and instantly realized that she was highly skilled. Our task was to come up with a design that was elegant and slightly retro (60s) as requested by Amber.

Amber told us that she envisioned an original camera shape maybe appearing offcenter. Legible. Classic. Gender neutral. Classic like the 60’s. Not too loud, but bold. This logo will be used on white backgrounds and black backgrounds. With these keywords and requirements, our logo designer came up with 4 different logo concepts showing abstract camera lenses, a little retro and bursts of flash. Amber immediately like the concept you see above and finalized it.

Creating photography logos is quite challenging because the designer has to capture the personality of the photographer. These are usually highly skilled and creative individuals and a corporate or stuffy looking design would not help them at all. The usual inclination would be go for cliched ideas showing camera shapes or photo frames. These could work well, some times, if the treatment is perfect. However, it is very easy to make them look cliched and clip art like.

Drawing inspiration from the work done by the photographer is a good way to start. A quick look at the photography portfolio would reveal the style of the photographer – usually. Are the photos bright or dark, are they colorful or moody, does the client focus on portraits or groups etc. If the designer can form an opinion based on these observations then it is easier to come up with concepts that reflect the client’s style.

Zubara Films, producer of feature, documentary and corportae films and located in Qatar came to Logo Design Works for a new media logo design. Dabbling post-production in their own studio, Zubara catered to local government sectors, government Organizations and produced films for audience in Qatar from different cultures and languages. The client wanted a strong and elegant logo design for their media brand.

Zubarah is a ruined and deserted town located in the northwestern coast of the Qatar peninsula about 105 km from the Qatari capital of Doha, part of Madinat ash Shamal municipality. It was also a fortified town with an inner and an outer wall. The client initially wanted to see some sort of castle or fort in the logo to tie in with the name and the place the company was named after. So created a few abstract castle icons.

The client was quite excited at the direction and wanted to see a 3D logo representation of the castle icon to see how it would look once it was showcased in the titles of the movies and films they would produce. So we added a little bit of gradient to the castle icon and showed the client the following revision.

After the revisions were presented, the client took a long time to get back to us. Apparently, the client and his partners were actually rethinking their brand strategy. The felt that a lot of the local businesses were using castles and forts in their logos. They did not want to be one in the crowd and wanted to have a more modern and international feel to their brand. So we talked over the finer details of their new brand direction and went back to the drawing board. Normally, at this stage we would require the client to start a new project if the original direction or strategy presented to us changes. But in this case, we decided to go along with the client and see how we can help them.

We then presented the client a bunch of modern logo design concepts. From these the client selected the one shown above because of the abstract “Z” icon and the way the two cables were presented breaking into digital bits. Some thing that was close to how they felt they were producing films. A few more minor tweaks and the logo was finalized. We then moved onto creating matching stationery design.

Zubara Film Production Company Business Card Design

Nathan Mountain, a US Coast Guard Certified fishing guide approached Logo Design Works to create a new brand logo for his already thriving fishing tour business. Currently fishing the Wal-Mart Stren Series, BFL Series, and FLW Tour tournaments, Nathan also guides for striper, bass, crappie, and bluegill on all East TN Lakes including Cherokee, Douglas, South Holston, Norris, Fort Loudon, and Watts Bar. Nathan was also featured on Knoxville’s Channel 8 Volunteer TV Sports Overtime with fishing tips.

Nathan also offers family tours including bluegill fishing tours for the young. Providing navigational tours of all the area lakes including the Tennessee River system, Nathan had created a brand that was quite sought after and needed a great logo to enhance his brand further.

Nathan wanted to feature a fresh water fish such as a bass, crappie or bluegill in the logo. So our logo designer went into illustrative design mode and created 4 different concepts with illustrations of fish in them. The client picked the emblem style logo concept shown above and with out any further changes or revisions, Nathan finalized the design.

Their clients have peace of mind knowing that their network is always being watched, their data is secure, and their systems are being managed in a manner that always keep their best interests at the forefront. They are essentially an outsourced IT department for small to medium sized businesses.

Target Market:
Businesses in the upstate South Carolina area that have between 5 and 100 computers.

Design Review:
The current tagline on the client’s website – ‘Gurus of Technology’ was being changed to ‘Business Technology Solutions’. The client wanted to keep the colors of blue and orange (didn’t have to be the same exact shades) since their clients were used to seeing those colors (and the client like them). The client was open to any other ideas related to a computer logo, but wanted to see a graphic in the logo to symbolize either a computer, mulitple computers, or a computer network; or CompuNet managing a computer or a network of computers.

We presented the client with a number of options that ranged from abstract logos of computers to code based images. Finally the client selected the design seen above which includes abstract computer monitors in a networking kind of layout.

Project Summary:
The client is starting a urology practice in El Paso,TX. They had just completed a fellowship training in endourology which includes specialty training in minimally invasive surgical techniques. The client wanted to offer this highly skilled and sought after service to local residents. Other similar clinics in the area are Rio Grande Urology PA and the client wanted an identity that set them apart yet retain a professional look and feel.

Typically older males with urological problems and other related issues

Design Review:
The client wanted a simple iconic logo related to urology. He also wanted to see logo concepts that related to landmarks in Texas (such as cacti etc). We came up with 8 different concepts showing abstract logos of kidneys, cross sections of tubes, a literal image of the urological system in the human body etc. The landmark related direction was scrapped in the initial phase itself. The client selected the above concept which shows an abstract icons of kidneys crossed by some modern looking swooshes. The idea was to indicate the advanced equipment and methodologies that the client would use to treat their customers. We also chose a very modern looking font to drive home the “advanced” idea.

Design Review:
Phyzoom was modern, hi tech, and innovative, so the client wanted the identity to be upbeat with all the latest trends and have a distinct web 2.0 logo design look. The symbol we came up with, consisted of the letter “P” with a medical symbol incorporated cleverly into the negative space of “P”. The medical symbol was instantly recognizable, and had the ability to standalone and still get the message across as what the company did.

The brand solution we came up with had icons in an abstract form, depicting the various elements of the company such as tools used in the wood work, a leaf to signify custom and eco friendliness etc. All the elements of the logo actually started out being elements of different design concepts. We amalgamated them all in the final design that was approved.

Design Review:
As the name suggests, the client wanted an abstract looking, iconic and free flowing symbol of a pony, and that is what we provided him with. The icon is very brandable, and can standalone and still be recognised. We had to be careful not to create an association to equestrienne related services. To that end we made a free flowing icon of the pony with a hint of fire in it’s mane to indicate creativity and passion. The elements of the icon can then be used for various branding aspects such as on the website design, as watermark on the stationery design, on the brochure designs and other marketing materials.

The design also incorporates a bulls eye icon in the “O” of Pony to indicate that this company hits the mark when it comes to delivering design solutions to their customers. The client also suggested that the inspiration of the company name came from the “Dark Horse” phrase, which means “Someone who emerges to prominence; being previously little known”.

Creating animal and pets based logos is always challenging. Especially when the logo designer tries to create some thing unique and focused on the target market. Our logo designers take inspiration from reference photos and other context sensitive marketing information available online.

Project Summary:
Philanthropic Business Bureau brings businesses together for a cause and connects for-profits to non-profits. Trying to connect different philanthropic organizations – working to help humanity and causes – with for profit businesses is quite a challenging business and PBB needed a strong yet friendly identity.

Design Review:
The Client wanted the logo to signify togetherness & support, must be clear and concise, easily recognizable once people see it. The Solution we gave the client was an icon which depicted exactly what the client was looking for – togetherness and support. The different colors represent a variety of people coming together for support. The logo design is made up of three small leaf shaped icons, each with an abstract image of a person with their hands up. The three icons are skewed slightly to create sense of motion and vigour. The font selected was quite professional with a serif.

Stationery Design:
After we completed the logo design, we created matching business card, letterhead and envelope design. As a design element on the different items of the stationery, we used 3 colored bars (the same colors as the icons in the logo)

Project Summary:
The client is launching a social networking website, similar in essence to Facebook, but purely based around organizing social events (large or small) with your friends, family and colleagues. The client wanted a clean and fresh web 2.0 look incorporating a mascot character logo of a bird with a name which sounds similar to the brand name. There was a debate on weather to go for a full fledged mascot illustration or a more abstract route. We finally decided to take the abstract iconic route to make sure the logo design was flexible.

Focused on age range from teenagers to 40’s

Design Review:
The client had an idea that his company’s name sounded too much like a cockatoo, so he wanted us to make a mascot which would represent his company. The solution we gave him was a simple drawing of cockatoo incorporated with the text, making it simple yet very useful on the website. The client did not want any thing too childish and was looking for the right balance between fun and stylish. So our logo designer created a line art based design. The choice of logo colors is to inject some freshness into the design. The bird icon can be used as a stand alone branding icon too.

The client wanted us to come up with a symbol which will let the audience know that the company provides computer aided aerospace design and engineering. So the logo design had to depict a techy and modern look. The solution we came up with had an icon of a airplane, which was part solid and part pixel based, indicating that the components of the plane were made through computer aided design. The client was quite thrilled with the message the design conveyed via the computer graphics.

Project Summary:
It is a gathering where musicians, other artistes and singers, express their inner thoughts and feelings about whatever they have pondered over in the past. The evenings at the “dungeon” are held at a non-descript, local bar hangout in Wisonsin.

The Client wanted an elegant and classy look, with a warmth that’s inviting. The solution was a logotype which is written in a classy script and set against a very stylish deep maroon background. The deep color gives the bar a cosy and stylish feel, with a unique type depicting the classy look the client wanted. The client also wanted the logo to look good enough to be printed on custom t-shirts, caps and other garments and surfaces. So there will need to be a color scheme to go on light and pastel color surfaces, as well as darks.

The client wanted a clear, strong and durable brand with a unique corporate look. The name was very strong, so we had to come up with something which represented that message. The design solution we came up with was a clever play on the name, an icon consisting of an M with an integrated 1, depicting the strength of Management ONE’s team. The icon can be used as standalone elements and can be instantly recognized. The blue logo color gives the logo a corporate feel, and the green represents the modern outlook of the team.

The idea we came up with had a sage leaf incorporated into a gear, depicting the idea behind the name SageWerx, where the sage leaf and the gear stood for the name and the service they offer. The sage color with blue, gave the logo a corporate yet relevant look.

Design Review:
The client wanted a clean iconic type of design possibly focusing on a shield type of icon. The design had to look modern, have a 3D logo design style, show strength and look cool. The client also had a specific logo color palette that we needed to consider.

We created a number of logo concepts for this client which included emblem style logos, font treatment, circular badge type icons, abstract shield icons and other styles. The client liked the 3D logo icon shield that our logo design team created.

Project Summary:
Doran Consulting and Contracting is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) consulting company. In a nutshell they help building owners/managers save money through more efficient building operations. Additionally, they are licensed construction supervisors, so they can actually implement the projects as well. Basically, a one stop shop for “green” building.

Target Market:
Anyone who owns property or is in a long term lease that would benefit from saving 30-60% a month in energy costs.

Design Review:
The client wanted to stand out with their identity and company logo right from the start. They wanted the identity and the look to be professional and more focused on the business aspect of the company (i.e. making customers more profitable my saving them money on energy costs) versus the environmental/save the planet side of things.

Our logo design team and logo designer researched this particular market segment and came up with ideas including the usage of the initials integrated, emblem based logo concepts to show strength, imagery to do with the construction industry and building material related icons. The client selected the creative initials concept and we refined it further to arrive at the final design.

Stationery Design for the client:
After the logo design was completed, we created an elegant stationery design concept for this consulting company including business card design, letterhead design and envelope design making up the corporate identity.

Website Design:
Finally we moved on to creating an awesome looking website design for Doran Consulting and Contracting company. The client wanted a simple, elegant and dark themed website that would create the right kind of impression online.

Herrell Photography Logo Design

Project Summary:
Shane Herrell is a photographer who shoots high school seniors, portraits, commercial products for small businesses, and some weddings (in that order). Most photographers use their name as their logo, but Shane needed something they can recall when they see it along with the name.

Shane said that he liked “Capturing Life” as his business philosophy. He also believes that one can not go back in time to recreate pictures, so take them now and cherish them forever.

Shane wanted to convey a calm, classy message yet in with today’s crowd.

Design Review:
We came up with a few concepts that included elegant icons and text based designs. We tried to use intertwining initials, emblem based design concepts and camera lens shaped abstract ideas. Shane selected the elegant icon and text based concept and with a few minor tweaks we ended up with the final logo design that you can see above.

When designing for photographers, it is especially challenging to come up with the right kind of logo design. Photographers usually try to brand them selves as well as a company. This leads to ambiguity in the message that we can communicate visually.

Smarts Dance Dress | Clothing Logos | Illustrative Logos | Guangzhou, China

Project Summary: A dance dress manufacturing company located in China came to Logo Design Works to create a logo design for them to help them launch the company internationally. Smarts designs and manufactures dance related dresses including formal, children wear and dance uniforms. After successfully becoming one of the dominant dance dress manufacturers in China, Smarts wanted to expand their costumes export business to the United States and Europe.

This was a tough project because our logo designer was not sure how to represent the company. Smarts already had a brand that was created 10 years ago. The client wanted the designers to use elements from the old brand logo into the new one. This was challenging because the old logo had an icon that looked like a boat with sails. When we asked the client, we were told that it was in fact a dancer!

After some back and forth with the client, which was a little challenging because the client was in China and communication was a little difficult in English. However, we finally managed to convince the client that the old logo and the elements that were supposed to be a dancer had no place in the new brand strategy.

We then proceeded to create an elegant line art logo design of a ballroom couple dancing. Couples with an elegant font treatment, we managed to create the perfect logo design for Smarts. The client was quite thrilled with the final logo and are in the process of rebranding and expanding their overseas export business.

Project Summary: Pools Patios & Spas Inc. constructs and develops Custom Swimming Pools, Concrete or brick paved patios, custom spas, Water falls, Rock features, and remodeling. With creative designs and sturdy construction, Pools Patios & Spas Inc., comes up with stunning swimming pools and patios. They came to Logo Design Works to create a logo design that fit their company well.

Targeting Affluent Home owners, Builders, hotels, an condos, the logo needed to reflect the beach side and Caribbean look and feel. The client wanted the logo to be colorful – almost playful – and be warm and friendly.

The Logo Design team researched a little bit and realized that the competition were using outdated and quite mono colored kind of identities and saw an opportunity to set the client apart with a bright and fun logo design.

The final design selected by the client included line art images of a pool, a beach chair, a palm tree and the sun. With bright yellow, eco green and cool blue colors, the final logo design created the right kind of impact that the client was hoping for.

Logo Design Project Summary: A clothing company looking to create a unique brand image by having a Crawfish in it’s brand label. CrawKids caters to children, right from 0 to 14 year olds. When the client came to Logo Design Works, they wanted to “stand out” kind of brand identity.

Utilizing a stylized drawing of a crawfish, the logo design was unique enough and yet related to the company name. Since the client wanted to use the logo not only the designer labels on the clothes but also on merchandising such as custom t-shirt designs, caps, bags etc.

But not following the trend – usually demure and subtle font treatments that the local competition were using, Crawkids was able to create brand awareness straight away. Further more, it was able to communicate directly to its target market of young children aged 0 to 14.

Logo Design Project Summary: Silver Leaf Limousine proudly serves the Atlanta Metro area, and is a reliable source for luxury ground transportation. Whether it is car service for airport transfer, corporate travel or private event. Silver Leaf came to Logo Design Works to create an elegant logo design that would set them apart and communicate with their high end market segment.

Targeting primarily corporate transportation, business travelers, conventions, family vacations to and from airport, corporate dinners or team bonding, sporting events and concerts, golf outings etc., Silver Leaf was hoping to project an image of efficiency and elegance with their new corporate logo.

The Logo Design Works team presented the client with several different ideas including some which showed line art of stretch limousines etc. The client however, decided not to go down the regular marketing presentation channels and wanted to go with a concept that had a leaf enclosed in a 3D logo design orb. The client selected the final logo concept and we then created elegant business card design and letterheads.

Creating a logo for a long established company can some times be daunting since the logo designer should be able to try and keep any brand recall the company might have had with the old logo design. in this case, we kept the reference to a leaf in the new logo (albeit a different leaf design).

Logo Design Project Summary: Primachem is a new Industrial Chemical Trader, importing selling colorants for Paint, Printing Inks and Plastic products from Asia (China, India, Korea, etc) by repacking these materials from their original Packaging and brand in their own brand packaging.

The client wanted to create a brand image that conveyed good quality products at reasonable costs. The client’s 15 years experience in working for World Leading Multinational Company in this business gave them an edge over the competition and Logo Design Works was tasked with creating a logo that could communicate this.

Targeting Japanese Transplant Printing Ink Manufacturers in Indonesia as well as Medium to High Sized Local companies along with Global Colorants Manufacturers as their principle suppliers, Primachem needed a modern and cutting edge logo design.

One of the concepts our logo design team came up with was based on the image of a star and a drop of liquid. Yet another logo concept was created with an arrow and upward motion to create energy. A third concept was created using an abstract 3D logo model of the globe. This was the logo concept selected by the client and after a few logo design revisions, we finalized the design and went ahead to create the matching stationery design.

Logo Design Project Summary: HCI Homebuilder located in a high-end custom market wanted a simple yet powerful and strong logo design for their company. The company is based out of a small town in Colorado and they service anyone involved in construction, specifically Architects and homeowners.

Facing stiff local competition from companies such as Rasmussen Construction, Hansen Construction, Silich Construction and Iglehart Construction, HCI wanted an icon that would set them apart from the other companies in that area that had dated and quite complex logos that were hard to remember.

The client was quite keen on seeing Mt.sopris, Colorado and Aspen mountains (see Colorado Logo Design), as an icon. Our logo design team came up with a brilliant and simple line art of the aspen mountains and coupled with a solid looking font was able to achieve the desired look and feel.

Logo Design Project Summary: Continuum Productions produce home & garden consumer shows (similar to trade shows, but for the general public). They strive to create fun, interactive, and professional environments where exhibitors (home interest companies that rent exhibit space and/or purchase sponsorships) get together with consumers who are looking for design ideas or to buy directly for their homes & gardens.

Targeting Exhibitors (home related businesses of all sizes), Sponsors (Corporate) and Consumers (buying public), Continuum Productions wanted a very clean logo design with no more than two logo colors, perhaps an icon, but not necessary. One request was to ‘play’ on the two (2) “u’s” in the company name “Continuum”. Another thought would have been to play off the idea of an integrated marquee tent to signify our “events” focus.

The important issue we had to keep in mind was that the logo was easy to reproduce with printers, and is reflective of the business (consumer events).

Our logo design came up with 5 unique logo design ideas including playing with the two “u”s in the name, a stylized iconic image of the initial “C”, a stylized sailboat design and an abstract icon of an “event tent”. The client finally selected the abstract iconic logo of the event tent and after a few minor tweaks we finalized the design.

They are experts in the health care staffing field and have been present in the hospital logo community developing the specific knowledge needed to meet the ever changing, day-to-day, supplemental staffing needs of our client facilities.

Westways for looking to rebrand and came to Logo Design Works to help them come up with an identity that stayed true to their core representation but was up to date and modern. WWS would like to incorporate the existing EKG wave (the heartbeat) typically associated with health services.

Logo Design Project Summary: Peckers is a new fast food delivery company that came to Logo Design Works looking for a shiny new brand identity. Peckers delivers the best and biggest wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and sides.

The client wanted a chickadee character logo design that would look great on a sign, on the side of delivery vans and on staff uniforms. The Logo Design Works team came up with a great looking chickadee cartoon character and coupled with a bold font and bright logo colors, the final design was stunning.

Creating a common animal character for a logo design is tricky business. The designer has to ensure the character design is unique and still be recognizable. This chickadee character was hand drawn in pencil first. Then the pencil sketch was inked and digitized in Adobe Illustrator. The font selection also proved to be quite challenging and time consuming.

Reference photos of chickadees were used to draw the initial character sketch. We used the same process as we would when creating a mascot character design. Of course this particular character was not as complex.

Logo Design Project Summary: GiftWizard is a web site that helps people come up with gift ideas. So the name GiftWizard is meant to suggest a wizard that helps you think of gifts. Targeting 16 to 80 year olds, the site would appeal to all UK internet users.

The client wanted a simple, non fussy logo design. It should be fun, quite bright and friendly. If a wizard was to be included as part of the image, which the client was keen on, then he should look friendly and quirky. However, if it is possible to incorporate the gift and wizard graphic elements into the text itself, so the text becomes the entire logo, still keeping the text clear, then this would be the ideal requirement.

Our logo design team cam up with a few different logo design ideas including the classic character of a wizard, a wizard’s hat logo design, a silhouette of a wizard design and an abstract magical design. The client picked the classical wizard character design and we tweaked to be quite friendly and cute.

In projects like this, where the requirement borders on being a mascot design, we decrease the number of logo concepts we show the client because it would take a lot of time and effort to create 4-6 different logo concepts of a highly illustrative character. Alternative we recommend the client to our mascot character design package.

Logo Design Project Summary:

FIT is a personal training and fitness end of physical therapy clinic focusing on athletic and post-rehab clients. FIT is heavily involved in promotion of fitness and overall health/wellness being a personal training/fitness division of a physical therapy clinic.

The client wanted a bright and active logo featuring the name F.I.T. and their tag line. The client also wanted to see a combo of blues/black with perhaps splash of yellow/gold. With very little information from the client, the logo design team started brainstorming on various ideas related to fitness.

One idea was a line art of a muscular body builder logo. Another utilized a stylized font type of the acronym, yet another used a circular shape coupled with an abstract figure to convey a sense of energy and motion. The logo concept that the client liked and wanted to proceed with was a contemporary and modern design of an abstract figure in a fluid motion.

The final logo design conveyed motion, activeness, energy and was still simple enough to branded easily across all media.

Logo Design Project Summary: eOutlet.net is an online store that sells consumer electronics to the everyday shopper. eOutlet.net’s target audience is the younger crowd, ages 15 to 40 years old. The competitors included PCRush.com, ZipZoomFly.com, BestBuy.com, CircuitCity.com, Vanns.com, and Electronics-Expo.com

The client wanted the logo to be as attractive as the competition and be able to compete with the competition with out being similar. They also wanted a clean design that was modern and cutting edge. An important requirement of the logo concepts was that they were high tech and stylish.

Our logo design team came up with 5 different logo design concepts which included contemporary and modern designs using tech related imagery. A few of the logo concepts also has abstract ideas representing the online aspect of the business.

Coming up with a design that included references to electronics, the internet and the consumer aspect of the client’s business was a little challenging. We researched the consumer electronic market thoroughly to understand what the current brands were and how the logo design trends were. We realized that, the usual “web 2.0 logos” style was not the way to go with client. We decided to use simply yet elegant visual elements to convey the message.

Logo Design Project Summary: Eager Reader Club offers literacy tutoring and enrichment services for children ages 3-8. Eager Reader Club does individual, partner and small group clubs. The enrichment sessions are fun, interactive and hands on for the children. Eager Reader Club does reading and writing activities, literacy games and projects with the children. The focus of the business is on the group sessions. The primary means of advertising is direct mailings, direct advertising, word of mouth, referencing, referrals, etc.

Eager Reader Club targets middle-Upper middle class parents of children ages 3-8 in central Ohio. One of the requirements was that the audience should see the logo as cute and picture their child as an ‘eager reader’.

The client also wanted to have a playful design with images of children characters of different ethnicity. The client liked the idea of the children being stick figures as well. The logo design team came up with 5 different concepts of drawings of children in front of a book. The client picked the one with the stick figures and after a few revisions we finalized the design.

Celtic Ridge raises Labrador Retrievers, horses and various other animals. The owners live on a small farm in the country. The client wanted the logo to have a sign made for the entrance way, and to put on the side of their truck and horse trailer is all.

Using green (and silver) and word “Celtic” maybe Irish enough but the client wanted a distinct irish feel to the logo. Our logo design team came up with 5 concepts using imagery such as contemporary design of rolling hills and sky, iconic images of pine trees, initials in traditional celtic font and designs of the celtic knot. The client finally chose the celtic knot as the final design and we tweaked the knot a little before finalizing the logo.

Bugbrooke Pharmacy is based in a village but they would like to expand and they wanted like to appeal to more people and to target care homes and other professional services.

The client wanted to see a pharmaceutical branding and pharmacy related imagery and icons including capsules, tablets, medical cross and other pharmacy logo related elements. We came up with 5 unique logo design concepts which included ideas such as mortar and pestle logo, a capsule logo, abstract medical cross logo, and a stylized initial letter logo.

The client selected the abstract medical cross logo as the final design and after a few rounds of revisions we finalized the pharmacy logo design.

MES is ISO certified as a medical manufacturer and has offices in the U.S., Europe, Hong Kong and Israel.

MES were splitting the company into two divisions – one for the human market and one for the veterinary market. The new name for the agricultural line will be “A-Tech”. To keep the branding connected they wanted to incorporate the Sperm Man Mascot Design that we created for them back in 2006, into a new A-Tech logo design.

Cafe 2050 sources ‘green’ products and promote healthy eating, Rain forest Alliance coffee etc. aiming to raise people’s awareness to the green agenda, carbon footprint issues and the ecological impact of human existence on the planet. 2050 is the year that the WWF predict in The Living Planet Report 2006 that the human demand on the earth’s resources will outstrip the planets ability to meet those needs and replenish itself.

The client wanted a logo that had longevity and get people thinking about the green agenda. They wanted to show the concept of “earth” in the logo but wanted to stay away from the cliche “green” logo color scheme. The result was a stylish cafe logo design that had an elegant script font coupled with a modern font for the sub text and used the grey color scheme.

Morse Insurance Agency is a full service retail insurance agency with a large book of business in the commercial and personal sides of insurance and accounting logo design. They have been in business since 1978 and are newly independent from Nationwide Insurance, so they are trying to redefine their company image with a new logo and tag lines. The owner’s chose the new tag line only a couple of month’s ago and really wanted to focus on displaying excellence, prestige and professionalism to their peers and customers.

Their target markets involves commercial fleets, service garages, restaurants, specialized field contractors (i.e. plumbers, electricians, landscapers), wholesale distributors, light manufacturers and retail businesses.

Some large competitors would be Brown & Brown insurance agency (local and national), local competitors are Sihle Insurance agency, Insurance Office of America, Lassiter – Ware, Risk Transfer, LLC (retail division only)and Insurance by Ken Brown to name a few.

Initial client requirement was anything that portays elegance, professionalism, trustworthiness. They liked the idea of combining a commercial building outline with house and car. logo colors listed above are not absolute, but what they had worked with in the past. Simple, clean lines.

Client: Brite Clean Blinds

Brite Clean Blinds services is state-of-the-art technology. It utilizes a digital generator powering transducers submerged in a tank of hot water. The transducers vibrate at a frequency of 40 KHz creating millions of tiny bubbles that form and implode.

This repeated formation and implosion creates a gentle cleaning action known as Cavitation. Cavitation has the ability to not only clean the surfaces of items, but also penetrate into the difficult to clean internal and crevice areas. It is safe and gentle.

Brite Clean Blinds will not scratch, pit or damage items the way that conventional cleaning methods can. Anything that can fit in our machines (exept paper products) can be cleaned by this method. Our primary market is blinds and window treatments, but we also hope to eventually target electronics equipment, tv’s, computers, fire/smoke/water damaged equipment.

Our target market is any restaurant, school, or hospital logo. Specifically, any commercial client with a large amount of blinds, and a vested interest in keeping their facility clean and germ free. We can microcleanse the blinds and clean them to an almost new condition. Our cleaning process is also “green”. It’s safe for the environment and it kills bacteria, germs, and allergens at a microscopic level.

About the Company: Circle City Comics is a brand new entity that specializes in the retail of comic books and comic book archival / storage supplies. The target audience is primarily male, ages 12 and up. Kids generally get into comic collecting seriously during the ‘tween-age’ years, and there’s generally no ceiling to the age of collectors.

Client Requirement: Being that the company is called Circle City Comics, the client was afraid that it would be an incredibly boring logo to have a city skyline in a circle design just to accommodate the words in the name. The client wanted us to have complete creative freedom.

“I’m really looking for a logo that has pop while still being clean. Comic books are ultimately a fun industry, so I’m not terribly concerned with having a logo that a law office or insurance company would prefer. Have some fun designing this one! The one thing I can’t stand is when a logo is so convoluted that I have to work to make out the name of the organization. Bad fonts can also be a pain in my humble opinion.”

It is always challenging to work on search engine and online marketing related company brand because the abstract nature of the services offered and the new market forces they represent. But in this case I believe we were able to come up with a fantastic solution for the logo design.

Ailesaway Photography Logo Design

A wedding photography specialist, this client came to us hoping to get a simple yet elegant logo design that would talk to their upscale target market. Before starting work we took a look at the various galleries of photos this client had taken in the past and understood that this client was not just a photography company but one that considered wedding photography an art form.

We decided to stay away from the regular imagery that most photography companies use. We have been guilty of this too but because the client specifically ask for such imagery. But with this client, we had full creative licence. From the start we decided to focus on typography and the least amount of graphic element that we can get away with.

We played around with many design concepts and finally decided to use the two “A”s from the name as a base and then connect them to form a pseudo-icon. During the revision process we added the little design elements (ornaments) on either side of the icon. The logo color choice was tricky too since initially the client wanted us to use either red or black both of which, we felt, would not sit well with the target market. After trying 4-5 different color schemes we settled on the magenta kind of shade.

We came up with numerous variations of the iguana but this one captured the client’s heart with the style, the shades and “attitude”. The hat added a little bit of a mexican flavor.

Designing restaurant logos can be tricky if you are unsure of who the customer segment is, what kind of image the restaurant is trying to project and where this restaurant is located.

We did a lot of research into these factors and understood the target market throughly before putting pencil to paper. We also thought about the usuage of the logo – a huge neon sign – and decided to come up with an icon that will look good on a neon sign.

The particular style, called illustrative logo in a broad sense, is really a line art based logo. Line art logos are good for off print usuage such as signs, embroidery etc.

Not your average balloons and clowns but different from the norm i.e. we recently organised a 12 year old party who wanted to have a cocktail party…so she got a mocktail party. All children dressed up and served as adults.

They handle the whole event package from initial concept to the execution. Enrich Events is sophisticated, pays particular attention to detail and They actually listen to their clients unlike their competitors. They make sure that the client decides every aspect of their special day…for a fair and honest price.

The client wanted to see a crown like item on one side made out of forest (kings, royalty), and maybe another crown looking icon made out of mountain peaks(highlands) Then Kings Highlands across the middle. Maybe kings highlands up on the top 50 % and some two story home roof lines underneath.

Utilizing the “royalty” theme, a very upscale font was created along with an ornate crown. The soft and fluid graphic of a landscape was created to reflect the highlands and it also balances nicely with the other elements. The overall design is classy and elegant.

The target market that the Bright Methods logo had to cater for was Professionals and senior professionals, often in management positions.

Client Requirement

The client did not give any input interms of what they wanted as the icon, imagery, colors or style. Projects like these are quite tough and we usually tend to not take them up. The problem is that after hours of effort in coming up with the concepts the client might then get a few ideas. There is nothing wrong with that, but in our business model where we try and provide high quality logo services at very low rates, it is would mean wasted time and effort.

We came up with a concept that utilizes the image of a torch which reflects many qualities including the idea of brightness as well as leadership and the notion of a beacon and guiding light. The overall design is eye chatchy and dynamic and the client absolutely loved it!

The Company name Langano means red lake. We want the logo to be in abstract form and simple. We also want the Company letters and juice and coffee to be easy to read and visible. We would like to see coffee, juice, fruits, vegetables, cups, greenery etc.

Using a clean abstract style the image of a juice glass and coffee cup were created. The straight rigid lines create a very metropolitan feel which is matched in the font. The overall design is clean and modern yet visually interesting.

The client really did not have any ideas on what they wanted from their logo. They simply said “Should emphasize training/education, but nothing too heavy or “institutional”".

The client liked #1 with the speech bubble at the end, and the font in #4. The client wanted “LinguaEdge” in the actual speech bubble. So we incorporated the company name inside a speech bubble resulting in a simply and quite “Web 2.0″ kind of logo.

By utilizing different wing position a very energetic and unique design was created. Using a swoosh as the client requested to help enhance the feeling of movement and energy, the overall logo has a very fluid feeling yet manages to hold on a sense of elegance and class.

Located in London, UK, Black Hawks Construction company is a building and maintenance company mainly involved with loft conversions, ground floor extensions, refurbishment work , basement dig outs, fitting bathrooms and kitchens etc.

Client Requirement

The client wanted to have an icon that represented a hawk. They were keen to get a logo that stood out from the rest of the construction industry in and around London. The client started off by requesting an illustrative image of a hawk in black. However after some research we suggested that perhaps it would better to have a line art based icon rather than a literal one with too much detail. Since they have a work force with uniforms and they also wanted to brand their vehicles.

Among 5 initial logo concepts that we presented the above was selected as the final design. Using the free flowing brush strokes the image of a hawk with it’s wings spread was crafted. Using a banner shape to enclose the name, the overall logo has a nice flow to it creating a sense of movement and energy.

AVR differentiates itself from others in the industry by providing more rental information than other sites and several value added services for owners and renters alike.

Also, different from most existing vacation rental sites, AVR provides a secure process for the delivery of rental deposits.

Vacation rental home owners and people looking to rent homes for vacations. Likely targeting women more so than men as the women often tend to make vaction destination decisions, buying decisions, etc.

“We want to convey trust and comfort. While vacations are often about going to a warm sunny place, we do not want to completely disinclude the ideas of skiing, fishing, etc. A vacation is about comfort. Escaping the day to day.”

Final Logo Design Concept

Using the glossy style of Web 2.0 logos, the image of a house along with backdrop of various scenes was created. By using the image of a beach and a mountain we tried to communicate that the business covers a whole spectrum of locations.

A UK based plumbing and heating company engaged Logo Design Works to create a company logo for them. They wanted to see an icon that indicated both the water and heat element of their service.

We cam up with several different concepts that showed elements that indicated plumbing and heating aspects of their business. But the above design was selected by the client as the final design. The drop shaped icon shows both the water and heat/fire element encapsulated in a drop. The colors were also gradiated to create a modern look feel.

An elegant dental logo design created for a dental practice located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bryson Lemone DDS wanted a dental logos to use the bamboo finishes and river rock decorative elements he had in his office in the new Dental services, cosmetic services, health services dental logo design.

does not indicate any thing about the dental practice but I suppose the name says it all. This dental logo was used effectively by the client for a number of dental marketing campaigns.

 We created this elegant logo for the war vetern who is trying to organize a 1000 mile bike ride for the wounded. Forrest Lee Horn Snr., approached us for a logo design that will help him launch the event on June 2nd 2007.

Forrest wanted clean patriotic symbols to be used in the logo. He did not want to see any direct reference to bikes, war, wounded or veterens. So we came up with a simple design that incorporates the elegant eagle wings concept (for both patriotic as well as the subtle reference to bikers etc).
