Confusion Between Logo Design and Branding

Branding

There are still some entrepreneurs who mistake their logo and web design as their branding strategy. That’s why some tend to spend so much money just in re-branding and creating a new logo. At the end of the day, they will realize it did not make any difference at all.

Keep in mind, your logo is just one of the important aspects of your branding. It means there are other things you need to worry about like positioning, building awareness and relationships. Knowing the connection and distinctions between logo design and branding will guide you in making the right decisions.

That’s why you need to have a branding strategy first before you go to your friendly logo design company and create your own logo. Consistency is very critical in this stage.

Your logo is like your body and branding is like your soul. No matter how creative or well-crafted your logo design is, it is empty if you do not put much meaning behind it. Your logo becomes more important after you establish your company/product and create strong awareness to your target market.

More importantly, your logo will not save your business if you fail to deliver your promise and create solid relationship with your key customers.
