The Anaheim Bullfrogs were a professional inline hockey team based in Anaheim, California. Playing in Roller Hockey International (1993-1997) and Major League Roller Hockey (1998) before returning to Roller Hockey international (1999), the Bullfrogs played their home games in the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim.
The Anaheim sports logo design is a complex illustrative logo incorporating a mascot character design of a bull frog dressed in hockey player garb and a crown on it’s head. The frog is on inline roller skates and wields a hockey bat in one hand while the other hand is clenched into a fist. The frog character’s face is twisted into an aggressive scowl. The frog character is quite muscular and the overall logo has an aggressive attitude.
I like this mascot character logo. The illustration is quite nice and the attitude and message is conveyed quite well. I also like the way it has been used on the hockey banners, hockey stadium, the player outfits etc.
