New York City vs. Brisbane
Big Apple lawyers accused Brisbane City Council of using the “I love NY” logo illegally to promote its $670,000 environmental campaign, which will run for 6 months.
The Council remains adamant to use the logo design despite this complaint since it will not be used in any tourism campaign anyway. NY is expected to hit back with a cease and desist letter for breaching its logo design trademark.
Bulgaria Logo in Czech Republic
In preparation for the coming tourism exposition in February 2008, the Bulgarian logo will be very visible soon in the subway of Prague. About 100 banners and 200 posters will be posted in this busy tram.
