		</div>
<p><strong>There was a time when being vegetarian or vegan meant a life of salads and lentils.</strong> However, businesses catering to this <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/how-to-identify-your-niche-market">niche market</a> are finding huge success. Here are the top ten vegetarian and vegan <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food logos</a>, created to appeal to a very discerning and even picky group of eaters. As you will see, there are many different ways to approach vegetarian logos, although certain themes are definitely prominent.<br />
<span id="more-3782"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Eden Organic Vegetarian <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Eden-Organic-Vegetarian-logo-design.jpg" alt="Eden Organic Vegetarian Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The primary shape of this vegetarian logo design is a circle that is filled with stylized plants. The symmetry and simplicity of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">logo designs</a> make it a winner. While the image is super friendly, the writing is bold and substantial to add some substance and imply that this is a well established and trustworthy company. The color green is commonly used in vegetarian logo design because it implies both the earth and vegetables, both of which are obviously relevant to the field of vegetarian eating. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Yves Veggie Cuisine Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Yves-Veggie-Cuisine-logo-design.jpg" alt="Yves Veggie Cuisine Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This vegetarian food company is trying to give a more sophisticated image, implying that foodies can find fare worthy of their high standards in this line of products. The French name combined with the prominent use of the word ‘cuisine’ accomplishes this, but the logo design is an integral part as well. A distinctly French figure is seen holding a basket of veggies. The name of the company is written in a combination of black and brights that is reminiscent of an urban bistro. This company uses a tagline to further emphasize both the quality of the food and its health benefits. </div>
</div>
<p><img src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Vegetarian-Logos.jpg" alt="" style="display:none;" /></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Gardein Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Gardein-logo-design.jpg" alt="Gardein Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This line of vegetable-based protein foods has a vegetarian logo design that is modern and attractive. The wording is written in a friendly, lower case font that is rounded and bubbly. The ‘I’ is drawn to be a small plant leaning toward a sunny arc, which clearly relates to the vegetables involved. While the name of the company is written in an earth-friendly green, the tagline is written in a serious and sophisticated black. The tagline explains the name and makes it clear that this is not an accidental misspelling. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Gardenburger Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Gardenburger-logo-design.jpg" alt="Gardenburger Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand is one of the best known makers of vegetarian burgers, and its logo shows its sense of tradition. The logo design is simply the name of the company written in a gentle, neat handwriting. The green is relevant and stylishly offset with subtle tan shading. The use of a period after the brand name also adds a substantial feeling, Like many vegetarian logo designs, this one has a prominently displayed tagline to further communicate information about their brand to interested consumers. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Linda McCartney Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Linda-McCartney-logo-design.jpg" alt="Linda McCartney Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand uses a combination of sophistication and friendliness to build a vegetarian logo design with a well-balanced and appealing feel. First, the name of the company is written in a serious, newsy font with thin letters. The tagline is centered below in the same font, although it slightly smaller lettering. Although this would be an overly serious and even boring logo design on its own, the wording is balanced by Linda McCartney’s autograph—just the first name, which gives a friendly feeling—and a smiling heart. This offsets the serious black writing and yields a very balanced logo design. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Fantastic Foods Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Fantastic-Foods-logo-design.jpg" alt="Fantastic Foods Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This vegetarian food company uses flavors and ideas from all over the world, a global perspective that is communicated carefully in their logo design. The logo is in the beveled rectangle shape of a travel stamp. The red is eye catching and bright, while the bold white letters contrast well. A small image of a compass combined with the words ‘Never Ending Discovery’ further the feeling of global sensibility. Anyone who sees this logo will understand that this brand offers more exotic vegetarian choices, which makes the logo design a winner. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Veggie Ranch Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Veggie-Ranch-logo-design.jpg" alt="Veggie Ranch Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This company specializes in vegetarian versions of fast food favorites, which is why their logo is humorous and yet appropriate. A youthful orange makes the letters highly visible, while their slight angle gives an impression of movement. A cow’s head is cleverly constructed of a carrot, which relates to the aim of providing fast food favorites. Lower case letters in an eco-friendly green show an animal loving focus behind these products. It is hard not to suspect that this company is a fun and friendly place to interact with. In all, this is a very unique logo for an equally unique company. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Cedarlane Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Cedarlane-logo-design.jpg" alt="Cedarlane Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand has a vegetarian logo design that relates directly to the company name. First, a cedar tree flanks either side of the writing. Second, a woodsy shade of green makes up the sole color of the logo. The letters are serious and straightforward, with sections of underlining for emphasis. While this logo doesn’t exactly scream ‘food’, it is nonetheless attractive, relevant, and recognizable. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Amy’s Kitchen Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Amys-Kitchen-logo-design.jpg" alt="Amy’s Kitchen Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand was started by parents looking for two parents looking for vegetarian home cooking to feed their daughter Amy. The picture ties directly into this history, with a maternal figure handing a steaming pie to a small girl. The tradition implied by this logo is unusual in vegetarian foods and thus serves to differentiate the company from its competitors. The red lettering adds to the traditional image, as red is used commonly in diners and other comfort food eateries. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Bumble Bar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Bumble-Bar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Bumble Bar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> There was a time when vegetarians had a hard time finding energy products to meet their needs, but that time is history now. Bumble Bar is one of many vegetarian supplement brands offering an energy bar, so the company must use a vegetarian logo design that differentiates it from the others. The attention grabbing red and black color scheme draws the eye in to the stylized bee that is the primary image. The circle around the bee makes it appear more friendly, which is important as most people are afraid of the stinger. The writing is gently curved to give a feeling of movement and change that is important in this field. </div>

<p><strong>Alcohol beverages are popular throughout most of the world, making this a huge global industry.</strong> However, this is an image-conscious industry where a drink must have not only a certain taste, but a certain image as well. Some of these logos are more than a century old, while others are relatively new, but one thing they all have in common is good <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo design</a>.<br />
<span id="more-3698"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Bacardi <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Bacardi-logo-design.jpg" alt="Bacardi Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> There is more to this well-recognized logo design than most people realize and should have been featured in our <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-beverage-logos">Top 10 Beverage Logos</a>. First, the bat that is the central image is indeed a significant part of the company’s history. When the founder of <a href="http://www.bacardi.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Bacardi</a> acquired the distillery in 1862, there were many bats living inside the buildings. Because bats are a symbol of good luck in Cuba, where the company originated, this figure seemed like an auspicious choice. The circular shape is also important, because it creates a friendlier feeling to the logo. The red is eye-catching and bold, while the gold communicates quality. The company name is written in a serious, straightforward font that gives the image a little more weight. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Hpnotiq Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Hpnotiq-logo-design.jpg" alt="Hpnotiq Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo design ties directly into the company name with a whirlpool-like figure that is indeed hypnotic. The colors here are significant; not only is blue a calming color (read more about <a href="http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/01/28/color-theory-for-designers-part-1-the-meaning-of-color/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">color theory</a>), but one that implies that the product is clear and clean as pure water. Again we see the combination of a friendly circle along with straightforward writing, but in this case the writing is underlined for maximum effect. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Jagermeister Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Jagermeister-logo-design.jpg" alt="Jagermeister Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo design is successful because it is so different from most alcohol logos. However, the unusual images maintain heavy significance in the company lore. It is based on a local legend of a man named Hubertus, who hunted in forbidden woods and came upon a deer, who had a cross between his antlers. Luckily, the animal forgave the hunter, but the story retained enough meaning throughout the years that it was given center position in this popular drink’s logo design. The heavy Gothic writing is reminiscent of the German name and adds to the traditional image. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Dos Lunas Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Dos-Lunas-logo-design.jpg" alt="Dos Lunas Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This tequila has a logo design that relates directly to its name, with ‘Dos Lunas’ meaning ‘two moons’ in Spanish. The ‘O’ in the first word is clearly and cleverly formed of two quarter moons, while the rest of the writing is plain and unobtrusive. The blue is graded so that it is lighter at the bottom, implying a night sky with the two moons rising. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Johnny Walker Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Johnny-Walker-logo-design.jpg" alt="Johnny Walker Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Again, this logo design refers to the company’s history, which can be important in the alcohol product industry where tradition is a powerful selling point. The man walking in the image is the company founder, <a href="http://www.johnniewalker.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Johnny Walker</a>. The writing is arranged to look like a signature, relating back to the founder. The black that is the main color is sophisticated and velvety, while the gold refers to wealth and quality in a way that is likely to appeal to the consumer. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Crown Royal Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Crown-Royal-logo-design.jpg" alt="Crown Royal Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> It’s hard to think of a more crown royal image than the one in this logo design. The crown in this image is situated on a gold edged pillow, which clearly refers to the name. The royal blue and gold both are parts of the same theme. The scrolling font adds to the traditional image, while the wavy accents give a feeling of movement. The touches of red draw viewers’ attention to the image. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Smirnoff Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Smirnoff-logo-design.jpg" alt="Smirnoff Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo is far more modern than most alcoholic beverage logos, which shows that this company is trying to present itself as a choice more friendly to the modern consumer. The silver and red is ultra modern while also attracting attention to the bottle. The bird images imply movement, while the crown above implies quality worthy of a royal. The name is printed in a banner, another implication of quality. The hard edges of the image add to this image, while hard edges imply strength while adding to the modern feeling of this logo design. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Le Tourment Vert Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Le-Tourment-Vert-logo-design.jpg" alt="Le Tourment Vert Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Absinthe is gaining popularity as an alcoholic beverage in the United States, with this French brand leading the pack. The logo design has a bright green color that is reminiscent of this famously green beverage, while the image of a bottle and ornate glass relates directly to the product. The writing is traditional and bold, like the drink, while the wave-like accents give a feeling of movement. This implies that absinthe is not just a drink of the past, but of the future as well. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Explorer Vodka Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Explorer-Vodka-logo-design.jpg" alt="Explorer Vodka Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This vodka logo design uses a blue color that is clean and reminiscent of the water, which is common in this industry due to a general preference for clean-tasting vodka. The red is bright and contrasts well against the blue. The image of sails clearly ties into the name of the beverage, but also into the sense of movement that the name implies. The simple, square writing is more modern than most of the company’s competitors, which gives a modern, straightforward feeling to the logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Seagram’s Seven Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Seagrams-Seven-logo-design.jpg" alt="Seagram’s Seven Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This alcohol logo design features the company name with just a few accents. First, a crown sits on top of the number seven, which gives a royal image to the liquor. The ultra-traditional writing with sharp serifs adds to the image. The silver color scheme is plain, but implies wealth and riches like the metal it is named after. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
As you can see, there are many different ways to create a successful logo design for an alcoholic beverage. Some companies try to portray a classic and traditional image that expresses the company’s past, while others aim for a more modern image. A variety of color schemes and fonts are used, but all with good effect. The important thing about a logo design of any kind is that it expresses important and unique information about the company that it represents.

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Stopping for coffee and a donut on the way to work is something of a tradition for many people. However, how do these people choose which donut shop to drive through? While location, convenience, and product quality are certainly important factors in this decision, brand and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/cafe-logos.htm">cafe logo</a> are definitely factors in this decision. The following ten logos are inviting enough to keep customers coming.<br />
<span id="more-3691"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Dunkin Donuts <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Dunkin-Donuts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Dunkin Donuts Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> In this case, the logo design doesn’t focus so much on the key product—donuts—as another product that is important to this brand, in this case coffee. Because many donut buyers enjoy this beverage with their sugar-laden breakfast, this is relevant enough to deserve this key logo placement. The bright colors are sunny and energetic, while also being an important part of the brand because they are used throughout locations and company communication. The rounded lettering is friendly while also relating to the shape of the donut itself. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Krispy Kreme Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Krispy-Kreme-logo-design.jpg" alt="Krispy Kreme Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This favorite of donut lovers uses a retro logo that creates the impression of a diner or other old time eatery, with a logo in the shape of a classic sign and an old fashioned scrolling font. The font has wavy accents that imply movement, which is important to people wanting to eat and run. Red is a color commonly used in food service while also attracting the eye to the logo design. The green that dominates the logo is calming and implies a stress free experience. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Mmmuffins Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Mmmuffins-logo-design.jpg" alt="Mmmuffins Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This shop has a brand that emphasizes their offerings, which are more expanded than what you would find at the average donut shop. As in many other donut shop logos, the lettering rounded to hint at a friendly experience as well as the shape of the main product. The M’s of the logo design are shaped like muffins, to hint at the product for which the company was named, while the I is shaped like a cup of steaming coffee. The red, orange, and yellow color palette is warm and inviting while also drawing in the eye. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Coffee Time Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Coffee-Time-logo-design.jpg" alt="Coffee Time Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The circular shape of the logo design again hints at the product, while the red and yellow colors are also common in the industry. The dark, swirling shape of the image in the center of the logo is reminiscent of coffee, an impression that is bolstered by the fact that the spiral ends in a classic coffee cup. The wording is written in a swirling font that ties into the rest of the image while giving a feeling of movement. The logo is more attractive and stylish than many in this field, which sets it apart in its market as a more modern choice. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Go Nuts Donuts Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Go-Nuts-Donuts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Go Nuts Donuts Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This happy, cheerful logo design is different from the ones we have looked at so far because it features photographic quality images of donuts in the logo itself. In this case, bright donuts are arranged to form a friendly smiling face, showing people the happy experience that they can find in this donut shop. The writing is red to grab attention, but friendly. The unique font and the way the writing is angled create a feeling of change, implying that this establishment is more forward-thinking than their competition. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. J.Co Donut Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/J.Co-Donut-logo-design.jpg" alt="J.Co Donut Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This Asia-based donut shop logo design features a peacock, which is a symbol of royalty that is also associated with its area. The orange color is youthful and friendly to balance the traditional image as well as the heavy black accents. The circular shape of the logo combined with rounded writing creates a friendly feeling while also referring to the key product. This logo is a good example of how archetypical shapes and colors can appeal to people from a variety of cultures. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Voodoo Donuts Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Voodoo-Donuts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Voodoo Donuts Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This Portland donut shop has received national media attention due to the unusual nature of their brand. The name ties into the fare offered, which includes a popular donut that looks like a voodoo doll, as well as the slightly <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-ten-creepy-crawly-logos"title="" >creepy</a> logo design. This logo design features sepia tones, and a scary looking man with dark eyes looking out from a donut shape. The name appears to have been nailed onto the donut from pieces of wood, which is definitely a diversion from the rounded, bubbly fonts seen in other logos of this genre. The tagline of the business is proudly displayed in a banner below the image. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Psycho Donuts Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Psycho-Donuts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Psycho Donuts Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo design tries to be more like other donut shop logos by using a gold and red color scheme often seen in this field as well as a donut shape. However, the similarity stops there. The writing appears to have been painted in a jagged, somewhat mad font. The donut image is not happy, but rather running away as though afraid. While this would not be a good logo design for the average donut shop, it fits the Psycho Donuts brand beautifully. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Donut King Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Donut-King-logo-design.jpg" alt="Donut King Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The colors of this logo design include a bold pink similar to that seen in the Dunkin Donuts logo design, but this time complimented by equally bright yellow and a touch of blue. The rounded writing common in the genre is seen here, with the O shaped distinctly like a donut, with a crown perched on the top. This logo design is vivid and bright while tying into the name perfectly. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. The Whole Donut Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/The-Whole-Donut-logo-design.jpg" alt="The Whole Donut Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This donut shop features an image that ties directly into the name. A donut is shown with the hole filled in, suggesting that this is a place where you will get a little more than the average donut shop offers. A spoon and a steaming cup of coffee beside the donut fills out the image. The attention getting red combined with soothing green yield a balanced and promising logo design. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
As you can see, a donut shop logo design can be classic or downright wacky. The difference that makes this variety equally successful is the brand. An experienced <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">logo designer</a> will create a logo that is uniquely yours, a one of a kind expression of your business that will draw in customers and give you the success that every <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/business-consultant-logos.htm"title="Small Business Consultant Logo" >small business</a> owner seeks.

		</div>
<p>Most people love steak and are more than willing to try the fare at an old-fashioned steakhouse. However, there are so many competitors in this niche market of the restaurant field that having a brand and a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo design</a> that compliments it becomes even more important. The following ten <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/restaurant-logos.htm">restaurant logos</a> attempt to lure you in with promises of comfort foods, ambience, and old fashioned fun.<br />
<span id="more-3654"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Texas Roadhouse <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Texas-Roadhouse-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Texas Roadhouse Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">This steakhouse has the feeling and ambience of the fifties, with a bubbly neon steakhouse logo design. The state of Texas and the cowboy hat perched upon this image relate directly to the name, while a complicated black shape in the background reinforces the vintage theme. The neon logo design is all the more appropriate considering that the chain is known for a free jukebox in the restaurant.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Texas-Roadhouse-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Bennigan’s Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Bennigans-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Bennigan’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">Rather than neon colors, this logo design features a calming, earthy green that suggests natural foods and a quieter experience. The name is the sole image in the logo, written in an old fashioned font that is nonetheless bold and thick for extra presence. The name is angled and underlined dramatically to give an athletic feeling, much like baseball pennants. The implication is that this is a sporty place, but a much more restful one than the average bright, loud roadhouse. This image surely will keep new customer flowing through the doors.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Bennigans-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Bugaboo Creek Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Bugaboo-Creek-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Bugaboo Creek Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">Is there really a Bugaboo Creek somewhere in the Canadian Rockies? This remains under debate, but there is a Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse in many communities. These theme steakhouses are decorated to resemble classic Canadian hunting lodges in the Rockies, and the logo design also ties into the theme. Stylized mountains are in the background, while a large moose stands to the left. The green and brown with red accents are reminiscent of nature, while the modern, plain writing suggests that this company is firmly grounded in the twenty-first century. This paradox of modern with classic, urban with rural, makes for a charming blend that will entice many steak lovers.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Bugaboo-Creek-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. The Big Texan Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/The-Big-Texan-logo-design1.jpg" alt="The Big Texan Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">Everything is bigger in Texas, and this logo is big as well. The name is written in a classic Old West font in eye catching bright colors, which, together with the actual Lone Star flags on either side of the wording, tie in to the name of the establishment. An old fashioned cowboy is the central image, while yellow wording announces the restaurant’s claim of world fame. The logo appears to be carved into a wooden sign, adding to the down home image. This logo is a little busy, but it has a kitschy charm that works in its community and in its <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/how-to-identify-your-niche-market">niche market</a>.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/The-Big-Texan-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. The Palm Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/The-Palm-logo-design1.jpg" alt="The Palm Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">Rather than the country images seen in the preceding logos, this New York based steakhouse logo embraces their upscale image with a simple, sophisticated logo and ultra modern writing. The central image of a stylized palm ties into the name, while also serving as the letter ‘L’ in a stroke of cleverness. The green and muted red color palette is tropical with upper crust sensibilities, while the round image invites all to see what a desert themed steakhouse has to offer. This steakhouse has a theme and a brand that is unique in its market, so it is very appropriate that this difference be included and even celebrated in their logo design.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/The-Palm-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Longhorn Steakhouse Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Longhorn-Steakhouse-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Longhorn Steakhouse Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">Longhorn cattle were once celebrated for their flavorful beef, so they make an appropriate name for this restaurant as well as a meaningful image for its logo design. The red and black color palette combined with the simple line drawing give an attention getting yet sophisticated feeling. However, the bold font with serifs is as Texan as you can get, showing that this modern brand doesn’t stray far from its roots. The mix of modern and old fashioned is undeniably present here, which is a combination that will be attractive to many steakhouse lovers.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Longhorn-Steakhouse-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Claim Jumper Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Claim-Jumper-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Claim Jumper Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">This restaurant embraces their Old West image, with a logo design that includes an old fashioned photo of a shady looking miner on a parchment background. Red lettering in a bold font adds to the distinctively Western feeling. The rectangular image is beveled at the edges to add a Victorian edge to the image, suggesting that customers may find all the comforts of home at this roughly named establishment. This logo manages to refer almost constantly to the theme of the restaurant as well as the brand, but never diminishes the expectation of good food and country charm.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Claim-Jumper-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Morton’s Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Mortons-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Morton’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">This restaurant has had a well recognized Art Deco logo design for decades, but it maintains power even in modern times. The classic lines create the shape of a bone, referring to the main course at this steakhouse. The Jazz Age font of the establishment name only adds to the vintage image. The brown color palette is definitely related to the primary fare here. This logo is both memorable and simple, which has helped it withstand the test of time.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/steak-house-logo-design1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Buffalo Grill Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Buffalo-Grill-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Buffalo Grill Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">This logo design is far simpler than those of its competition, but with good effect. The restaurant’s name is written in that Old Western font that is looking rather familiar by now. The horns are reminiscent of the buffalo that is the restaurant’s namesake. The image is well balanced and shaped subtly like an inverted triangle, giving an image of strength. The eye catching red that is the sole color is attractive and appropriate for a food service establishment.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Buffalo-Grill-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Logan’s Roadhouse Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Logans-Roadhouse-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Logan’s Roadhouse Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">This logo design is old fashioned in just about every way. First, the red and yellow color scheme is one often used in classic restaurants. Second, the logo is text only with several lines for emphasis. The wave like shape of the S adds a modern edge to the image. Logan’s Roadhouse is decorated as an old fashioned roadhouse, so this distinctly retro logo is appropriate.</div>
<p><img class="blogItemLargeImage" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Logans-Roadhouse-restaurant-sign1.jpg" alt="" width="590" /></p>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>If you are one of the many Americans planning to lose weight as a New Year’s resolution, you aren’t alone. With over half of the nation obese or overweight, dieting is big business in the United States. Companies offering food that is tailored to help Americans lose weight can find huge success in this market, but only with a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo design</a> and brand that appeal to the weight conscious consumer. These ten brand logos have been immensely successful in creating a brand that just screams ‘thin’.<br />
<span id="more-3650"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Healthy Choice Diet Food <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Healthy-Choice-logo-design.jpg" alt="Healthy Choice Diet Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Nothing says healthy like a rich, natural green, which is what makes this such an appropriate color for the Healthy Choice logo. The use of two different greens creates visual interest in the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/health-logos.htm">health logo</a>, while the rounded letters are nonthreatening and inclusive. While there is no image, the L in ‘Healthy’ and the dot of the I in ‘Choice’ are cleverly drawn to create an exclamation point. This gives the impression that this is a safe yet exciting choice for people trying to lead a healthier lifestyle. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. ZonePerfect Nutrition Bar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/ZonePerfect-logo-design.jpg" alt="ZonePerfect Nutrition Bar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The Zone diet is touted to be about balance and combining foods in a way that encourages health and weight loss. For this reason, the divided circle that is contained in the O of ‘Zone’ in the brand’s logo design is very appropriate and communicative. The bold block letters of the first word combined with the graceful cursive of ‘Perfect’ further the sense of balance. Blue is a calming choice for a dominant color, while the reds and yellows used as accent colors are commonly associated with food. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Weight Watchers Raw Diet Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Weight-Watchers-logo-design.jpg" alt="Weight Watchers Raw Diet Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Again we see a calming, serene blue as a dominant color in the logo design along with rounded letters to create a friendly feeling. However, the brand shows its strength with inverted triangular shapes in the letter ‘W’. A natural green and a sunny, attention getting yellow are combined to create a wave shape, which communicates movement. The sense of calm and the positive attitude that permeate this logo have likely been a large contributor to the brand’s success. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Kashi Go Lean Food Diet Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Kashi-Go-Lean-logo-design.jpg" alt="Kashi Go Lean Food Diet Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The logo design of this all natural company’s weight loss products is cleverly arranged to imply weight loss. The lettering goes from very thick on the left to extremely thin on the right, showing the change that prospective customers are hoping to see in themselves. The deep brown and rust red used in the words is eye catching and earthy at the same time. The Kashi logo is prominently displayed above the lettering to tie the product in to its parent company. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. EDiets Food and Diet Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/EDiets-logo-design.jpg" alt="EDiets Food and Diet Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This <a href="http://web.logodesignworks.com/"title="Website Design" >website</a> is a little different from its competitors because it offers not just a line of diet foods, but a virtual support system and tools for tracking and managing weight loss. The aim is to make weight loss easier and more convenient, making the blue color scheme used in the logo design once again an excellent choice. The writing is rounded and, once again, drawn to become thinner as it moves to the right. The star used to dot the I implies success, which is definitely a positive image for people trying to lose weight. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Lean Cuisine Diet Plan Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Lean-Cuisine-logo-design.jpg" alt="Lean Cuisine Diet Plan Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Instead of the calming blue used by so many weight loss companies, Lean Cuisine uses a youthful and positive orange, again with a mix of thick and thin lettering. The letters are otherwise simple, with an image of a chef’s hat implying gourmet quality food. The tagline below implores consumers to ‘Do something good for yourself’ in a modern gray color. This logo design offers a brand promise of quality food that will be relevant to people who don’t want to give up their favorites. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Nutrisystem Weight Loss Diet Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Nutrisystem-logo-design.jpg" alt="Nutrisystem Weight Loss Diet Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The Nutrisystem logo uses a simple, sophisticated black for its letters, along with the size variation that is common in this niche industry. The effect is stark and modern, with the only image or splash of color being a leaf used to dot the eye. This gives the logo design a natural, green image that will appeal to many customers. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Atkins Nutritionals Protein Diet Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Atkins-Nutritionals-logo-design.jpg" alt="Atkins Nutritionals Protein Diet Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> A bold ‘A’ pulls the eye to this logo design and helps the product stand out on the shelf. The Atkins diet is one of the most popular in the United States, so a blue ribbon showing the brand’s ‘blue ribbon’ status is very appropriate. The wording is bold so that customers can see that this brand is part of the well known diet. The edging on the ribbon adds visual interest and detail. You can’t look at this logo without knowing which diet it supports, making it an effective design. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Diet Pepsi Max Weight Loss Diets Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Diet-Pepsi-Max-logo-design.jpg" alt="Diet Pepsi Max Weight Loss Diets Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> It was only a matter of time before one of the many diet soft drinks on the market decided to get in on this huge market by creating a product designed to offer more for dieters than a zero calorie beverage. Diet Pepsi Max is surely the first of many. The logo design features a blue circle for a calm, friendly feeling, along with the familiar Pepsi logo. The word ‘Max’ is written in bold, pointy letters for an edgy feeling. The serifs are pointed in a way that contributes to a feeling of movement. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. South Beach Living Health Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/South-Beach-Living-logo-design.jpg" alt="South Beach Living Health Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo design attempts to set the brand apart from the others in several ways. First, a square shape is used instead of a circle. Second, instead of emphasizing dieting and weight loss, the logo prominently accents the word ‘living’ by giving it a different font. The blue-green and the palm tree are both tropical images that tie into the ‘South Beach’ concept around which the brand and the logo are designed. The South Beach Diet is popular, so South Beach Living has a lot to gain by being obviously related to it. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
What do these logos have in common? While the similarities in shape and color are obvious, they, like all good logo designs, communicate a promise to the consumer. In this case, the promise is weight loss and a generally healthier lifestyle, but a logo can say just about anything if designed by a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">qualified logo designer</a>.

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Children comprise a savvy group of consumers who, despite their young age, are very aware of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/brand-identity-vs-brand-image"title="" >brand image</a>. <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo design</a> is a very important part of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm"title="Marketing Logos" >marketing</a> to this crowd. Not only must the logo be eye catching enough to win the child’s attention, it must also appeal to the parent who has the actual spending power. These companies have <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a> that appeal to both markets, which has won them a place in lunch boxes all over the United States.<br />
<span id="more-3648"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Capri Sun Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Capri-Sun-logo-design.jpg" alt="Capri Sun Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The Capri Sun logo is deceptively simple. A blue and yellow color palette refers both to clear, refreshing water as well as warm sunshine, two images that are very relevant to beverages. In addition, the yellow creates a focal point for the logo. This color scheme is one that we will see a lot of in children’s beverage logo design because it is so effective. The font is bold and simple, leaving a logo that can be successfully placed on the never-ending parade of new lines and products marketed to this audience. A ribbon below lets the grown-ups know that the product is all natural. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Icee Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Icee-logo-design.jpg" alt="Icee Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Children for generations have begged for this semi-frozen beverage treat, and the company clearly is unwilling to change a now classic logo that has worked for so long. This logo remains the same after decades of use, with red and blue referring to the two main flavors offered by this brand (cherry and blue raspberry). The blue is chilly and cool, while the red grabs the young consumer’s attention. The letters are bold with icicles hanging off them to refer to the ice crystals that make this beverage such a popular summer treat for children all over the nation. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. AquaPod Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/AquaPod-logo-design.jpg" alt="AquaPod Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Can something as basic as water be marketed to children? The AquaPod logo design shows that it indeed is possible. The blue background relates directly to clear, refreshing water, while the yellow and orange letters pop against the cool background. The letters are rounded to be friendly to young consumers, but oriented so they appear to be moving. Water splashing around and through the center of the initial letter leaves no question as to the product, while creating visual interest. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Hawaiian Punch Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Hawaiian-Punch-logo-design.jpg" alt="Hawaiian Punch Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Once again we see the familiar refreshing blue, this time with a red hue that is identical to this drink’s well known color. The lettering is bold with sharp edges that give it an edgy image. A red surfboard below the writing refers to a sport commonly associated with Hawaii, while the familiar Hawaiian Punch character offers a refreshing, iced glass of the drink. Red is not a color commonly used in beverages logo designs, but it works well here because it ties in to the color of the drink while adding visibility. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Nesquik Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Nesquik-logo-design.jpg" alt="Nesquik Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo features the cocoa flavored bunny rabbit that is featured in ads for the product, tying in to the marketing and the brand while adding to the child-friendliness of the logo. The yellow and blue is commonly associated with beverages in the United States, while the slanted orientation of the letters gives a feeling of movement that reflects the ‘Quik’ in the name. The familiar Nestle logo is prominently placed in its familiar red to tie this niche product into the well-known parent brand. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Sunny Delight Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Sunny-Delight-logo-design.jpg" alt="Sunny Delight Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Sunny Delight recently rebranded and changed its logo to appeal more to its young market. Will this be successful? A refreshing blue is seen here, but now with a youthful orange that refers to the citrus fruit used in the drink. The swirling letters refer to the liquid inside the bottle as well as giving a sense of movement, while a fruity orange sun ties the name into the flavor. Green letters add a natural touch while advertising for parents that this drink includes ‘absolutely nothing artificial’. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Juicy Juice Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Juicy-Juice-logo-design.jpg" alt="Juicy Juice Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo is made to appeal more to parents than to children, with plain letters and the sole image being a berry dotting the ‘I’ in the first word. A sophisticated black ribbon advises parents that this product is a healthier alternative to those with which it shares the shelf. The background in this case is purple, but it varies according to the flavor of the juice. The conspicuous lack of fun characters and the familiar blue show that the drink is a more parent friendly choice. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Kool-Aid Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Kool-Aid-logo-design.jpg" alt="Kool-Aid Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This drink is an American classic, with a logo that has changed little over the years. This text-only logo design is both versatile and refreshing in blue and white. The letters are square and substantial, with shadowing that makes them pop all the more. The first letters of both words curl up at the bottoms to give a little visual interest. This logo may be the simplest of the bunch, but that allows it both versatility while allowing the familiar character associated with the brand to take center stage in advertisements and on package labeling. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Mott’s Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Motts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Mott’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This drink goes for a slightly more natural image by replacing the refreshing blue seen in other children’s drinks with a natural green. The logo still attracts attention with a bold yellow. The round shape is friendly, but the pointy black block letters show the drink’s serious side. White rays backlighting the ‘O’ reinforce the friendly nature of the circle while creating a reference to the sun. The sole image is of a leaf that makes up the apostrophe, adding to the natural feeling that the brand is trying to portray. The tagline further communicates this: ‘Hand Picked Goodness’. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Ocean Spray Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Ocean-Spray-logo-design.jpg" alt="Ocean Spray Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Ocean Spray makes a variety of products for people of all ages, so the logo must appeal to all. The blues are refreshing and refer to the liquid nature of both the juices and the company name. The wave creates a feeling of movement, while the circular shape makes the logo design more friendly. The letters are plain and white, without serifs or accents, to allow the emphasis to remain on the simple image. </div>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Americans have recently rediscovered tea, with the formerly dowdy drink now being given the same respect as coffee and even fine wine. As such, a variety of tea companies new and old are courting the United States market with <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a> designed to entice all types of tea drinkers. The following ten tea brands have <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a> that entice the tea drinker with promises of old world tradition, exotic delight, and even medicinal properties.<br />
<span id="more-3629"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. The Republic of Tea <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/The-Republic-of-Tea-logo-design.jpg" alt="The Republic of Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The Republic of Tea is a relatively <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/new-brand-vs-old-brand"title="" >new brand</a> offering a variety of flavors both traditional and new age, and the logo is flexible enough to accommodate all of these. The image is that of an old fashioned tea pot, while the font is modern and has fancy yet subtle details that hint at a complex and rich tea drinking experience. The tagline below lets people know that they can expect a premium quality experience from the brand. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Teavana Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Teavana-logo-design.jpg" alt="Teavana Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The name of this tea company hints at the exotic, and the logo further bolsters this impression. This was among the first tea brands to market international teas in a manner similar to that used for other premium beverages, but the emphasis remains on the exotic. The rich colors are exotic yet inviting, while the cross legged image appears to be meditating on a cup of tea. The rounded images give a feeling of inclusiveness that suggests all people can join in on this image of inner peace. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Tazo Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Tazo-logo-design.jpg" alt="Tazo Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Tazo uses multiculturalism and Eastern religion as a major part of the brand, with product labeling referring to religion and a label on every box claiming that all tea is ‘blessed by a certified tea shaman’. The logo further underscores this point by using several different religious symbols as letters. This combined with the antiqued look of the logo gives a feeling that this tea is a way to get in touch with the ancient and timeless, something that very few brands can successfully promise. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Good Earth Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Good-Earth-logo-design.jpg" alt="Good Earth Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand focuses on earth friendly teas, and the logo shows this. The logo is shaped in a semi-circle, a friendly and inclusive shape. The dark brown <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/color">color palette</a> is relevant both to the earth and the dried tea leaf. The first O in the word good is in the shape of a tea leaf as well. The line beneath the wording as well as the detail on the letter R both suggest a wave shape, a symbol of forward movement that compliments this forward thinking brand. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Yogi Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Yogi-Tea-logo-design.jpg" alt="Yogi Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Yogi Tea obviously plays on the Asian roots of tea to entice people enthralled with the exotic. Again we see a brown color scheme, but with a very different shape. The shape of the logo is distinctly Asian, while a plant shape at the top of the logo is reminiscent of the tea plant. The writing is thick and rounded for a friendly feeling, making viewers feel that they can be included in the inner peace that the name suggests. Curvy accents show attention to detail while giving an otherwise simple image more visual beauty. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Ten Ren Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Ten-Ren-Tea-logo-design.jpg" alt="Ten Ren Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This tea brand has long been popular in Asia, but more and more is being sought out by people all over the world. The red of the color is distinctly Asian, while the green refers to the fresh taste that the brand is known for. A diamond shape contains an Asian tea cup enclosing a simple leaf, while the wording below, ‘The Art of Chinese Tea’, is another reference to the place of origin. The message is that this brand offers tea that is fresher and more authentic than the competition. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Celestial Seasonings Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Celestial-Seasonings-logo-design.jpg" alt="Celestial Seasonings Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Celestial Seasonings is a tea company based in Boulder, <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/colorado-logo-design.htm">Colorado</a>, United States that specializes in herbal tea but also sells green and black tea. Despite the astronomical name, this brand offers a variety of teas both for medicinal purposes and pure enjoyment. The C in the first word refers to the name by being in a distinctive moon shape. The wording is rounded and friendly with swirls and details that draw in the eye to an otherwise very simple, text only logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Coffee Bean &#038; Tea Leaf Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Coffee-Bean-&#038;-Tea-Leaf-logo-design.jpg" alt="Coffee Bean &#038; Tea Leaf Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand offers both coffee and tea, and the logo communicates this aptly. A circular shape surrounding a coffee bean and a sprig of tea implies inclusiveness of both products, while a line through the circle shows that the two lines are completely separate. The writing is rounded as well, but has swirling accents and serifs that imply movement. The impression is that this is a brand constantly changing, which is attractive to people always looking to try something new. Read more about the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-hottest-coffee-shop-logos">Top 10 Hottest Coffee Shop Logos</a>. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Kalahari Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Kalahari-logo-design.jpg" alt="Kalahari Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand focuses on African origin teas, and the logo shows this without words. The central image is a deep crimson African continent. Another reference to Africa is the fierce lion’s face embedded in the continent. The writing is jagged and pointy to add to the fierceness, while tiny brightly colored circles throughout the wording add an inclusive touch as well as visual interest and brightness. This logo is very different from most other tea logos, which is appropriate because the brand and its product are both very different from the norm as well. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Scottish Blend Tea Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Scottish-Blend-logo-design.jpg" alt="Scottish Blend Tea Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This tea may not be an American favorite, but its popularity in other countries suggests that it is only a matter of time before its cult appeal crosses the Atlantic. First, a deep blue background is calming, while the image of a tea bag relates back to the product being sold. The two T’s in the word Scottish form a table on which two brightly colored and inviting tea cups sit steaming. The wording is plain enough not to detract from the image, but solid enough to make a clear statement. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
What makes a tea logo successful? For some, it is a reference to the place where the tea originates. For others, a peaceful image inspires the customer to give the product a try. The common theme here is that these logos all are invaluable parts of their brand, communicating information about the company and its products in a language more subtle and salient than words ever could be.

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Cigar logos are different from just about every other <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo</a>. They tend to have highly detailed designs, although as we will see there are notable exceptions. Because this item has traditionally been associated with wealth and Latin American culture, these themes weigh heavily in cigar logos as well. <strong>Cigar logos</strong> are a diverse group with a lot of history, and they are one of few types where a design may have been used continuously for a century or more. These ten logos are not just the most visually attractive, but the most meaningful as well.<br />
<span id="more-3622"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. 898 Cigar <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/898-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="898 Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand of cigar has a round logo that is made of tobacco leaves, but there is an obvious reference to the sun as well. The manufacturer’s name and initial take center stage. The colors, brown and gold, are representative of the product color and wealth, both of which are very appropriate. This is one of the simpler cigar logos, which makes it easy to pick out from the crowd. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Montecruz Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Montecruz-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Montecruz Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is another simple cigar logo, with a basic white background and a familiar brown color scheme. However, this is where the similarities to the 898 logo end. A stylized flower in the center makes up the sole image, adding an artisan touch to the logo. The writing is rounded in places to give a friendly feeling along with visual interest, while the bold lettering and subtle shadows add importance. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Arturo Fuente Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Arturo-Fuente-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Arturo Fuente Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> As with many cigar logos, this includes a reference to the old world, most notably the family crest of a shield with lions. However, this logo also uses square shapes regularly throughout its logo to create a feeling of tradition and straightforwardness. First, the writing is thick and square. Second, the writing is enclosed in a rectangle. Last, the shield flanked with lions creates another rectangular shape. Red and gold combined create a rich and bold color palette that draws in the eye, and the metallic gold is also reminiscent of wealth. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Romeo y Julieta Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Romeo-y-Julieta-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Romeo y Julieta Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is the first example of one of the more ornate cigar logos. Romeo and Juliet, for whom the brand is named, are the center of the logo in the midst of the famous balcony scene. The other key part of the logo is the gold medallions, all of which represent different awards won by the cigar throughout its many years of production. The pink banner at the top displays the name while adding another feminine touch. This is a colorful, attractive <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">award winning logo</a> that is recognized by cigar lovers all over the world. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. El Rey de Mundo Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/El-Rey-de-Mundo-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="El Rey de Mundo Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Again we see an image describing the name of the cigar, which in this case is Spanish for ‘King of the World’. The king of the world is shown in an ornate painting on a cart being pulled by several different animals. A family crest is immediately below this image, surrounded by images that relate to growing and preparing tobacco. Gold medals that have been won throughout the years again flank the sides of this bright and eye catching logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Cuban Diplomat Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Cuban-Diplomat-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Cuban Diplomat Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo uses an attention getting red color rather than a bright picture to garner interest. The logo is overwhelmingly red with metallic gold accents that refer to wealth. The writing is stark and plain, leaving the majority of the visual interest centered on the tobacco plants that make up the central image. This logo is simpler than the others, yet still appropriate and interesting. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Tatuaje Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Tatuaje-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Tatuaje Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo is simpler than the last few, which is appropriate considering that the name is Spanish for ‘tattoo’. A fleur de lis is the most dominant image, one associated with wealth and Old World tradition. Stylized tobacco leaves are arranged in front to refer to the chief ingredient in the product. The name is written in a cursive font across the front that is reminiscent of a tattoo script, while another common Old English font is used for a description below. The brown and green color palette are representative of the colors of tobacco at different points in its life span. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Diamond Crown Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Diamond-Crown-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Diamond Crown Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> What better image for a cigar brand with this name than a crown inside a diamond? To tie the two images together, the jewels in the crown match the jewels on the diamond. A red ribbon above and below displays the name of the product in plush, royal way, while the brown and gold colors in the background refer to both the color of the finished product and general wealth. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Sancti Spiritus Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Sancti-Spiritus-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Sancti Spiritus Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand of cigars is named for a geographical region of Cuba, and this is referenced in the Cuban flag images that flank the main image on both sides. A gold circle refers to wealth while adding a friendly image. The photograph in the center is a well known <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/city-landmark-logos.htm"title="" >landmark</a> of the namesake area. The plain red writing without serifs or details is simple enough not to detract from the image. The overall color scheme is that of the Cuban flag, a positive image in this case as the nation is known for its high quality cigars. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Old Henry Cigar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Old-Henry-cigar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Old Henry Cigar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> While most cigar logos use images that relate either to history, the company name, or tobacco itself, Old Henry chooses to use an image of a dog that was well known throughout the company. The endearing pooch’s face makes up the central image, surrounded by gold medals representing several awards for excellence. The red stripes in the background give a homey feeling because they are reminiscent of wainscoting, a feeling that is bolstered by the old fashioned writing that is used for the company name. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
These cigar logos have very little in common, but there nonetheless are a few themes. First, the tobacco plant is usually referred to, as is wealth in general. Second, tradition weighs heavily here, which is appropriate as many of these companies have more than a century of continuous production under their belt. What all of these logos have in common is that they are attractive and uniquely representative of the companies they represent.

<p>What makes a high energy logo? There are a variety of ways to communicate the movement and vigor. A high energy product needs a dynamic, energetic <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a> just like these <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-beverage-logos">top 10 beverage logos</a>.<br />
<span id="more-3610"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Red Bull <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Red-Bull-logo-design.jpg" alt="Red Bull Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Red Bull is the golden standard of energy drinks, with about ten percent of the market share. The logo ties in closely to the name, with two red bulls about to face off. The aggressive stance also suggests the energy and vigor that the drink promises. The circular gold sun in the background centers the eye on the two bulls, while the overwhelmingly red and yellow colors make the logo eye catching and lend a sense of urgency. The writing is thick, bold, and plain, adding yet more strength to the logo without detracting from the image. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. 5-Hour Energy Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/5-Hour-Energy-logo-design.jpg" alt="5-Hour Energy Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand of energy shots claims to offer the benefits of a traditional energy drink in a more compact form and without the well-known ‘crash’. The logo portrays a more natural drink as well, showing a man running up a cliff next to a blue mass that could be interpreted as an ocean or rolling hills. The red and yellow of the Red Bull logo are present, but there are calming blues as well. The circular shape of the logo promotes the impression that this is a more health-friendly choice for the energy drink consumer. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Full Throttle Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Full-Throttle-logo-design.jpg" alt="Full Throttle Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This energy drink seeks a younger image by using a logo that is similar to many youth oriented clothing and band labels. The letters are dramatically arranged, a drama that is further bolstered by the black and white colors with red accents around the letters. The letters are thick and pointy, bearing a striking similarity to common rock band logos such as that of Metallica. However, the semi-circular placement along with the comparatively large size of the letter ‘o’ add a touch of inclusiveness that will appeal to the younger generation. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Monster Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Monster-logo-design.jpg" alt="Monster Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Is a monster a positive image? Apparently it must be, because this energy incorporates this image into its name and its logo with great success. The ‘M’ that makes up the central image of the logo is drawn so that it appears to be torn with a monster’s claws. The black and bright green combination is energetic and attention grabbing while also being different from the color palettes of most other energy drink. The writing is also jagged to compliment the rest of the logo. This logo is decidedly monstrous, but striking and communicative in the same stroke. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Zipfizz Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Zipfizz-logo-design.jpg" alt="Zipfizz Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is not an energy drink per se, but rather a powder that, when added to water, creates a fizzy, light energy drink. As such, the logo is very different from other energy drink logos. The rounded, all lower case letters give a friendly feeling. The bubbles that make up the image are also friendly shapes, but they refer to the bubbles in the drink as well. The wavy shape in the middle of the bubbles makes them also appear similar to a molecule or atom, referring to the science that went into creating this drink. A wavy shape also symbolizes forward movement, giving the impression that this is an innovative energy beverage. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Jolt Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Jolt-logo-design.jpg" alt="Jolt Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Jolt was one of the first energy drinks to hit the mass market, and as is appropriate this logo is practically a prototype for other energy product logos. The familiar red and yellow color palette is seen, although the yellow is modified to a metallic gold. The lightning bolt refers to the name as well. The letters are pointy and arranged to further the electric image that the product name and the image refer to. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Vault Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Vault-logo-design.jpg" alt="Vault Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The drink’s tagline is the key to understanding the Vault logo: ‘Drinks like a soda. Kicks like an energy drink.” The V of the logo has a missing piece—the energy hovering above it, suggesting that this is a more complete drink than the others. The strength of the triangle is another strong message, as both the V and the missing piece use this shape. Energetic green is an accent to the black and silver color palette of the logo. This logo is intelligently and cleverly designed, which may be part of the drink’s success. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Crunk!!! Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Crunk-logo-design.jpg" alt="Crunk!!! Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The name of the energy drink as well as the logo suggest that this is a product aimed at a young, urban market. The exclamation points add vigor to the name and the logo, while the star shape centered behind the initial letter gives an impression of quality and star appeal. The slightly slanted lettering makes the logo feel like it has movement. The red, gray, and black color palette is sophisticated and attention getting at the same time. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Revive Energy Mints Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Revive-Energy-Mints-logo-design.jpg" alt="Revive Energy Mints Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This energy mint claims to be a healthier alternative to the average energy drink. The colorful color palette combined with the multi-hued berries bolster this safer, healthier image by making it appear elementary as well as different from most other energy products. Mint leaves graphically represent the flavor of the product as well. The paint splatters behind the logo suggest that the product is dynamic and moving. Once again, rounded lower case letters suggest friendliness, which adds to the healthier, more natural image, while the slightly upward moving orientation of the logo implies change in an upward, positive direction. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Zygo Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Zygo-logo-design.jpg" alt="Zygo Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Can vodka be an energy drink? According to Zygo, the ‘energy vodka’, absolutely! The logo is made up simply of letters, which are large, bold, and in all caps, without any embellishment. This implies a simple, strong product. Below the logo is the product tagline: ‘the morning vodka’. While no one would recommend vodka as a morning beverage, this logo is eye catching and simple enough to be remembered. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
Are you feeling tired? These products promise through more than words to revive and inspire you. Energy drinks are becoming increasingly popular, so a truly great logo is necessary to make a mark in this image-conscious market.

		</div>
<p>Organic food is big business in the United States, with more and more people looking for a cleaner, greener alternative to conventional processed foods. While many organic food companies started out as grassroots projects, most now function and market themselves like any other large corporation. This means that <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a> and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a> are very important. Here are some of the most effective organic food logos on the market along with exactly what they say to the savvy modern consumer.<br />
<span id="more-3525"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Earthbound Farm Organic Food <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Earthbound-Farm-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Earthbound Farm Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This organic produce company has a logo designed to portray important facts about their brand to the public. The logo uses the red and yellow color palette commonly seen in food logos, but with green as well to show their earth friendliness. The generally shape is of a solid, reliable square that encloses a farm scene with a sun setting on the horizon. The message is that this is a normal, dependable farm with a green twist, which is exactly what the company aims to say. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Annie’s Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Annies-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Annie’s Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/5-rules-of-organic-businesses">organic business</a> and all natural foods offers a logo that is different from most food company logos. The ‘rabbit of approval’ is a fun spin on the seal of approval and ties in to the company’s rabbit-themed <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/mascot-design.htm">mascot character</a> pastas and processed foods. The round shape continues this friendly impression, while the ribbon shape beneath implies excellence. The red and yellow color palette is the only conventional accent, as these colors are commonly seen in the food industry. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Eden Organic Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Eden-Organic-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Eden Organic Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This company has chosen a logo that is completely green, in reference to their eco-friendly products. The shape is friendly and inclusive, while the stylized plants inside create symmetry and beauty while communicating the company’s back to nature focus. The wording is in a serious font with serifs, implying that this company means business when it comes to producing healthier, more earth-friendly products. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Horizon Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Horizon-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Horizon Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This organic dairy uses an image of our planet to show their ecological orientation rather than the color itself. In a playful touch, a smiling cow <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/mascot-samples.htm">mascot design sample</a> is shown jumping over the planet, a spin on a popular nursery rhyme. Showing the cow as clearly happy communicates another reason that many people buy organic dairy products: the generally better treatment of the animals involved. The cow is holding a yellow banner with the words ‘organic’ written on it. The red background is eye catching and different from the whites and blues usually used in dairy products, which makes the carton easy to pick out from the many selections in the dairy case. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Newman’s Own Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Newmans-Own-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Newman’s Own Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This organic food company was one of the first, started by iconic actor Paul Newman. Paul Newman is not just a key part of the name, but also the central image of the logo. A ribbon implies excellence, but in this case the writing in the ribbon is more significant, communicating to the socially conscious consumer that all profits from the company go to charity. Tomatoes, a key part of many of the sauces made by Newman’s Own, are displayed on either side of the friendly circle, while a green color reminds customers that this is an earth-friendly product. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Square One Vodka Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Square-One-Vodka-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Square One Vodka Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Organic foods have gained such popularity that it truly was only a matter of time before organic alcoholic products hit the market. This vodka is likely the first of many, but its logo eschews many symbols common to the organic movement and instead portrays the company name in a graphic manner with a square enclosing a number one. The words of the name are wrapped around this square to form another square, tying in to this honest, straightforward shape once again. This artisan product has a professional logo that likely will take it far with vodka drinkers looking for a less conventional choice. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Earth’s Best Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Earths-Best-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Earth’s Best Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This company focuses on organic baby products, but their logo is very different from the average baby logo. Infant images and pastel colors are completely absent. Instead, an image of a traditional farm complete with a red barn is displayed, tying into the all natural products that the company sells. The serrated border of the circle makes it appear to be a seal, implying excellence. The name of the company is written inside a ribbon flowing across the seal, in bright red, bold letters that make it impossible to miss. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Blue Buffalo Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Blue-Buffalo-organic-food-logo-design.jpg" alt="Blue Buffalo Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo is different from the others, which may be appropriate because the company produces pet foods. The diamond shape connotes value, but also is a trustworthy square turned on its side. Southwestern touches abound, while a generally blue color scheme is both calming and appropriate for the name. The word ‘Blue’ is in large, bold letters, while a small image of a buffalo is placed beneath. Little outside the wording refers to the organic nature of the food, but the logo is eye-catching and unique enough to make up for that. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Whole Foods Market Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/whole-foods-market-logo-design.jpg" alt="Whole Foods Market Organic Food Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> As one of the first supermarket chains devoted entirely to natural and organic foods, Whole Foods deserves an honorable mention for having a logo with the longevity to carry the company through several decades more. First, the green color is a classic for this industry. The <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-eco-friendly-company-logos">top 10 eco-friendly company logo</a> is merely the name written to be a rough square shape, with the ‘o’ in ‘whole’ shaped like a fresh fruit with leaves on the stem. This reference to fresh foods is simple and iconic enough to be perfect for this store. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. USDA Organic Market Organic Food Logo Design </span></h3>

<div class="portfolio-desc"> No discussion of organic logos in the United States is complete without examining this logo, which is on every single organic product for sale in America. This logo uses almost every tool for communicating an organic food, from the circular, friendly shape to the green color palette. Lines in the green lower half of the circle both communicate movement and appear to be the rows in a crop. The brown outline of the circle emphasizes the closeness to the soil that many organic farmers boast. The writing is thick, but rounded to complete the overall friendly image of the logo. </div>

		</div>
<p>Many people don’t think about the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a> behind store logos because they don’t have national advertising campaigns. However, these products definitely have a recognizable brand, one that is often built on their logo alone. People who buy store brands buy them based on impression alone, and the logo is a huge part of that impression as opposed to the elegant<a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-online-boutique-logos"> online boutique logos</a>. Here are ten <strong>store brand logos</strong> that are both communicative and attractive.<br />
<span id="more-3509"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. O Organics Store <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/O-Organics-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="O Organics Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> O Organics is one generic brand with one unique aspect: all of this company’s products are organic, as the name more than suggests. Rather than relying on greens and earth tones to communicate this difference from most other store brands, O Organics lets their name do the talking and instead uses bright eye-catching colors that will entice shoppers and gain notice on the shelf. The ‘O’ is in the shape of a circle, which makes this friendly image appropriate for both the image and the brand name. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Up &#038; Up Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Up-and-Up-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Up &#038; Up Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Arrows connote movement, which make this shape a great choice in image for a brand called Up &#038; Up. This image implies movement, which adds to the quality image implied by the logo. Eye catching primary colors are used for the arrows, while the company name is written in simple, sans-serif letters that are slightly rounded for a friendly feeling. The simplicity of this logo seems honest rather than stark, which bolsters the straightforwardness that is promised by the company name. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Great Value Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Great-Value-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Great Value Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This store brand has a more minimalist feel to both their logo and their packaging. First, there is a white background with a simple, unadorned picture of the product being sold. The first word of the name is written in white with blue outlining, while the second part is written in solid blue. This subtle color change differentiates the letters, allowing people to see the ‘great’ and the ‘value’ separately. The impression is that this product is both great and valuable, which is exactly what the company is trying to say. The <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/simplicity-essential-standard-for-logo-designs">simplicity of this logo</a> makes the message clear without being ‘in your face’. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. President’s Choice Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Presidents-Choice-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="President’s Choice Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This line of products uses a rectangle to give a solid image, which is important to store brands who are trying to present themselves as cheaper and yet equal to more expensive namebrands. The colors red and gold suggest royalty, while an entwined ‘P’ and ‘C’ are both the initials and an attractive image for the logo. The name is written out to the left in a scrolling script that appears to have been written by an older gentleman, perhaps representing the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-presidential-campaign-logos">president</a> being named. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Safeway Select Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Safeway-Select-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Safeway Select Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The logo for this more upscale store brand has subtle elements that suggest high quality. First, the general shape is of a shield, which implies tradition. The black color is used in upscale goods, while the gold suggests <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/developing-a-jewelry-logo">jewelry</a> and royalty. The image above the writing looks like a stylized flower, but it also resembles a fork, which is significant because this private label makes food products. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Primo Taglio Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Primo-Taglio-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Primo Taglio Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The name may be Italian, but the red, white and blue color scheme suggests Americana. Gold accents again give a feeling of wealth and riches. The writing is printed, but with scrolling accents that soften the overall image. The words ‘premium’ and ‘first cut quality’ tell the customers about the quality they can expect from this product. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Archer Farms Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Archer-Farms-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Archer Farms Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> First, this logo uses color to convey a message. Green is a common color used in <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/agco-agricultural-company">agricultural</a> and earth-friendly goods, which is part of this brand’s ethos. A splash of red in the woodcock in the center attracts attention and provides contrast. The central image of a woodcock ties into the name because it is an image commonly associated with farms and rural life. The tagline, ‘Tasty Food, Tasty Price’ communicates yet more about the brand. In all, this <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo</a> ties the name into the logo effectively. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Western Family Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Western-Family-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Western Family Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The circle connotes friendliness, while the slanted orientation implies movement. The impression is that this is a company you can join in moving toward the future. The writing has a slightly newsy feel, with serifs, but the edges are softened enough to give a friendly feeling. This is one of the simplest logos on the market, but nonetheless one of the most effective. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Private Selection Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Private-Selection-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Private Selection Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is another store brand trying to give a more upscale image. Again, a sophisticated black with gold accents is used to give an upper middle class image. Further upscale accents include the fancy, scrolling writing and the diamond shape in the center of the logo. Red is a perfect color for the diamond, as it attracts attention. The words ‘Premium Quality’ are written above the store brand name in a block print that is conspicuous and noticeable. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Market Pantry Store Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Market-Pantry-store-logo-design.jpg" alt="Market Pantry Store Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This Target store brand uses several shapes to give a clear message. First, the logo as a whole is generally in the shape of a rectangle, which is a solid, dependable shape that makes customers more likely to feel trusting. However, the edges are rounded for a friendlier feeling. This inclusiveness is further portrayed by the circle inside the logo. The entirely lower case letters are unassuming and easy to read. No one can miss this simple but strong logo, making it easy to pick out on the shelves. </div>
</div>
<p>As you can see, store brands all want to seem like a high quality product for a great price, but they go about this differently. Whether it’s a calming blue and white color scheme or a bold, sophisticated black and gold one, all use color to communicate. Images tend to be eschewed in favor of shapes, giving a simple but elegant result. Many people buy store brands despite the lack of advertising, which must mean that these logos are doing their job. If you have a logo designed for your company, you can have the same advantage: an image that speaks to the customer in a subtle, yet effective language.</p>

<p><strong>Buying Convenience: Top Ten Mini-Mart Logos</strong></p>
<p>Mini-marts are emporiums of impulse purchases. They offer products that people don’t actively shop for, but merely ‘pick up’ while they are in transit from one place to another. Because impulse purchases are made solely in the spur of the moment, <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm"title="Marketing Logos" >marketing</a> is essential to mini-marts. Although they are ubiquitous in the United States, on nearly every major street corner, few people give a lot of thought to their marketing strategies and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a>. However, as you can see from the following ten logos, mini-marts clearly are working hard on wooing their target audience and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a>.<br />
<span id="more-3456"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. QuickChek <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/QuickChek-logo-design.jpg" alt="QuickChek Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is perhaps the most modern mini-mart logo on our list, but it still uses many principles of logo design. The ‘Q’ is designed to look like a bold, thick circle, a friendly and inclusive shape, with a leaf as the dash at the bottom. This gives a greener, more earth-friendly image to a genre that is generally known for being more oriented to speed and convenience. The green color of the logo reinforces this impression. With ecology being one of the key values of many modern consumers, there is no underestimating the effect this has on QuickChek’s success. The company name is written in thin, rounded letters that are friendly as well. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. AM/PM Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/AM-PM-logo-design.jpg" alt="AM/PM Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This mini-mart has a name chosen to <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/communication-logos.htm">communicate</a> the store’s extended hours. The logo further puts across this message, with the colors of the sunrise and the colors of the sunset running through the logo. The colors are oriented so the daytime colors go through the ‘AM’ while the nighttime colors go through the ‘PM’. The rounded, lower case letters are consumer friendly and invite the consumer to stop in at any time, day or night. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. 7-Eleven Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/7-Eleven-logo-design.jpg" alt="7-Eleven Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This was one of the first mini-marts, with the original hours being from seven in the morning to eleven at night. Now open twenty-four hours a day, the mini-mart has kept this name because it is an important part of the brand. The square is a trustworthy and straightforward shape, but the rounded corners make it a little more friendly. The green is a soothing color, while the red and the orange are eye-catching and stand out in a crowd. Because there are often many mini-marts in an area, standing out is an important part of success in this industry. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Circle-K Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Circle-K-logo-design.jpg" alt="Circle-K Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This company name brings images of a ranch or farm, so it is appropriate that the logo look like an <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm">old-fashioned brand</a>. This logo also matches the name in that there is a circle around a large K. The friendliness and unity of the circle come into play in several ways here. First, the logo is actually in the shape of a circle, but in addition the letter is rounded. However, the bold colors and thickness of the lettering give a feeling of strength. Red is an attention-getting color that helps the logo stand out. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Flying J Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Flying-J-logo-design.jpg" alt="Flying J Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This mini-mart offers a more modern logo that appeals to modern audiences. Again, the name and logo both resemble a brand in their <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/simplicity-essential-standard-for-logo-designs">simplicity</a> and basic circular shape. The friendly circle is seen once again, with a ‘J’ that has been drawn with wings to resemble a plane. Planes denote going places, so this is appropriate for a market on the go. This is reinforced by the slanting writing. The gold color of the logo implies high quality, while the simple black color of the wording along with the basic, sans-serif font give a more common-sense feel without detracting from the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/beauty-salon-logos.htm">simple beauty</a> of the image itself. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Love’s Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Loves-logo-design.jpg" alt="Love’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This minimart has a very different name from those discussed so far, but it is actually the last name of the original owners. This unusual name, however, is worked into the logo design with a series of overlapping hearts. A serious square adds weight to the image, while the red and yellow color palette is one commonly used by fast food. This logo gets immediate notice, making it a winner. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. White Hen Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/White-Hen-logo-design.jpg" alt="White Hen Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This regional mini-mart has an unusual name as well, but the logo is different in more ways than that alone. Instead of bold colors, a calming blue is used as the main color along with gold accents. The white hen mentioned in the company name is the central image. While the logo is generally in the shape of a square, there is a circle in the middle to give a friendly feeling. The plain, white writing neither adds to nor detracts from the logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Allsups Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Allsups-logo-design.jpg" alt="Allsups Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This Southwestern mini-mart company has a logo that shows their heritage. The gold and green colors are very different from those seen in other mini-mart logos, but very relevant to this geographical area. The writing is bold and takes center stage. A stylized Southwestern sun is the key graphic, adding the friendliness of the circle to this logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Speedway/Super America Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Speedway-Super-America-logo-design.jpg" alt="Speedway/Super America Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This is actually not one, but two logos, for mini-marts operated by the same company. The logos, however, are very similar. Both use square-like shapes that lend gravity to the design. Both use the same red, white, and blue color palette to draw in the patriotic customer. While they use different fonts, in both cases the initials of the business are the central image. Speed lines imply movement and swiftness, which suggests that these stores are for people on the go. The Super America logo features a more triangular shape along with pointed letters that resemble triangles as well, giving an extra shot of strength to the logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Pilot Travel Centers Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Pilot-Travel-Centers-logo-design.jpg" alt="Pilot Travel Centers Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Pilot Travel Centers use a red and yellow color palette that is familiar to the industry, along with a few retro elements to appeal to travelers looking for a little piece of nostalgia. The writing is in bold letters that are drawn to be three-dimensional. The letters are square, as is the central shape, but all elements are rounded to add that important friendly touch. </div>

<p>Why do you buy your favorite snacks? Many people insist that it is the flavor, but <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">logo designers</a> and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm"title="Marketing Logos" >marketing</a> consultants know that having an effective logo along with a cohesive brand can be a huge help at once. These snacks has winning brands, alluring logos, and an undeniable power over the American public.<br />
<span id="more-3441"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Chicken in a Biskit <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Chicken-in-a-Biskit-logo-design.jpg" alt="Chicken in a Biskit Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This niche favorite snack cracker has a logo that expresses key facts about the product. First, yes, the cracker does have chicken and chicken flavoring in the ingredients. Second, the logo contained yellow, which is a common color used in crackers and savory snack products. The half circle in the background looks like a sun, which can represent both nature and the dawning of a new day. The writing is rounded and swirling, adding to the friendly image of this cracker. The writing as well as the background are both in a deep, calming, blue. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Pepperidge Farms Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Pepperidge-Farms-logo-design.jpg" alt="Pepperidge Farms Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This company makes a variety of snacks, but all use this interesting and recognizable logo, which allows higher brand recognition for this international company. The logo features simply the farm that the brand is named after itself, a picturesque scene with a barn and a waterwheel. The name of the company is written in a food-friendly red and yellow color scheme, in what appears to be a ribbon. Because ribbons usually imply being a leader in one film, this provides a pleasant contrast with the farm scene as well as showing the brand’s quality. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Orville Redenbacher’s Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Orville-Redenbachers-logo-design.jpg" alt="Orville Redenbacher’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This brand of gourmet popcorn also uses a ribbon in its logo to show the company’s high quality and dedication to excellence. The white writing has enough serif to be serious, but it is still rounded and friendly. The ribbon is red and gold, two colors that are commonly used in snack food. An image of corn shows exactly what kind of product is contained within the packaging. The impression that this is a high quality popcorn cannot be missed, which makes this logo very effective. </div>
</div>

<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Wheat-Thins-logo-design.jpg" alt="Wheat Thins Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> These crackers are more conventionally flavored than Chicken in a Biskit, and their logo shows it. The common color palette of calming blue and savory yellow is used, but the writing is more grown up and features flourishes. In the background are several stalks of wheat in the key logo theme colors of blue and yellow. In case you didn’t know what a Wheat Thin is, the tagline below reads ‘baked snack cracker’. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Cheese Nips Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Cheese-Nips-logo-design.jpg" alt="Cheese Nips Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> It’s easy to tell what Cheese Nips taste like from their name, but the logo is just as revealing. The writing is bold and in a can’t-be-missed bright red. The letters appear to be three dimensional, truly making them pop. Orange crackers appear to be flying out from the center, suggesting that the cracker is an explosion of flavor. The red, orange, and gold color scheme makes this box stand out even in a crowded aisle. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Oreo Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Oreo-logo-design.jpg" alt="Oreo Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This cookie is an American classic, and with this logo it’s easy to see why. The logo is in white with several shades of calming blue. The writing is rounded to give a friendly appearance with the letters arranged at a diagonal. This isn’t the most complicated logo in the snack world, but is a calming friendly one that encourages people to buy the product. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Super Pretzel Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Super-Pretzel-logo-design.jpg" alt="Super Pretzel Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Super Pretzel’s company name is directly referred to in its logo. The way the logo jumps out at you with a cape like trail behind it is directly reminiscent of famous superhero comics both in shape. Another similarity lies in the bright color palette. An inclusive circle in calming blue surrounds an image of the product itself, giving this super snack a friendlier feeling. The pretzel in the picture takes up most of this circle, making it appear yet stronger. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Cheetos Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Cheetos-logo-design.jpg" alt="Cheetos Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> These cheesy snacks have become an American classic, and the logo is part of this very successful brand. The writing is in the same bright yellow-orange color as the snack itself. However, the packaging also contains large areas of calming blue to offset the action-oriented orange. The writing is rounded, also like the product, but there are slight movement lines at the top edges. There is a glow behind the product name that makes it appear like a headline at the movies. It’s easy to look at this logo and understand key facts about the product, making it another success in the world of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a>. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Nutter Butter Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Nutter-Butter-logo-design.jpg" alt="Nutter Butter Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> These peanut flavored cookies are another niche favorite with a cult following. The logo appeals to this market by having one of the actual cookies in the background. In the foreground the name of the brand is written in stark white letters with soothing blue outlining. The writing is slightly wavy, as though it is a mirage, which adds to the appeal. No lover of peanut butter could look at this image and not be tempted, making Nutter Butters an example of logo success. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Planter’s Peanuts Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Planter-Peanuts-logo-design.jpg" alt="Planter’s Peanuts Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> How could anyone discuss snack logos without a look at Planter’s famous <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/cartoon-character-logo-case-study">cartoon character</a> spokesperson, Mr. Peanut? Mr. Peanut is clearly a throwback to a gentler time with his walking stick and single eye glass. However, he is certainly friendly, with a non-confrontational pose and his hand posed to tip his hat. Despite numerous references to past centuries in this logo, Mr. Peanut remains relevant today. Most North American people both recognize this character and associate him with Planter’s Peanuts, making him an undeniable branding success story. </div>
</div>
<p>As you can see, there is a huge variation in what makes for an effective logo. For some, an intricate design works, while for others less is more. A circle might be the right shape for one museum, while a triangle or square better for another. The key is to have a logo designer create a logo just for you and your company, because one size definitely does not fit all in the world of marketing. </p>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>Candy bars demand a logo that stands out in the crowd. People generally buy candy either out of product loyalty or as a spontaneous decision. Candy is generally sold besides hundreds of other competing brands, so the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo</a> and the wrapper must be enticing enough to inspire people, as well as roughly explanatory of the flavors held within. These ten logos are winners because they are attractive and enticing, using color and shape to woo the consumer and draw in the eye.<br />
<span id="more-3422"></span></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Hershey’s <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >Logo Design</a> </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Hersheys-logo-design.jpg" alt="Hershey’s Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This logo is a good example of the principle that sometimes less is more. What candy logo could be more recognizable than this stark, plain, text-only logo? The name is written in solid, square writing, which suggests the straightforwardness of the candy within. The background is the same brown as the bar, but the writing is in a silvery-white that suggests precious metal. Shading is used to make the lettering appear slightly three-dimensional, giving it a substantial feeling and one that is highly recognizable as well. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. 3 Musketeers Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/3-Musketeers-logo-design.jpg" alt="3 Musketeers Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This long-time candy aisle favorite has a colorful, memorable logo that uses many of the best principles of logo design. First, the soothing blue, eye-catching red, and stark white look like they were chosen for a harmonious and balanced color scheme, but they are also the colors of the French flag, where the story of the three musketeers is based. The number three is enclosed in a shield, which is a shape commonly associated with tradition and strength. However, the letters are rounded to give a more friendly feeling. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Dove Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Dove-logo-design.jpg" alt="Dove Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This chocolate bar was made for adult tastes rather than a child’s sweet tooth, and the business-like logo expresses this beautifully. In contrast to colorful children’s bars, the word ‘Dove’ is written in a newsy, straightforward font in a chocolate-y brown. The dove of the name is embossed on the letters in a metallic gold. The background is stark white, making for a minimalist look that appeals to grown-ups looking for a more mature chocolate fix. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Baby Ruth Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Baby-Ruth-logo-design.jpg" alt="Baby Ruth Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Although many claim that this candy bar was named after Babe Ruth of baseball fame, it was actually named after the daughter of then-president Grover Cleveland. The logo refers in several ways to its namesake. First, the logo is written in the colors of the American flag: red, white, and blue. Second, the font of the bar is identical to that used on a medallion for the Chicago World’s Columbian Exposition which featured the presidential family, including young Ruth. This rich history makes this logo a winner. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Aero Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Aero-logo-design.jpg" alt="Aero Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This European favorite has quite a following in the United States as well, and it’s easy to see why. It features a bubbly center covered in chocolate, with the bubbles referred to in the name. However, the logo also suggests the bubbles. While the color varies with the particular flavor of the bar, the lettering is white and rounded for a friendly appearance. The product name is surrounded by bubbles, with the ‘O’ of the name slightly larger and drawn to look like a bubble itself. You can’t look at the logo and not have a good idea of what the bar will be like, making this a very communicative logo. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Cadbury Crème Egg Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Cadbury-Creme-Egg-logo-design.jpg" alt="Cadbury Crème Egg Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This Easter themed confection is popular with young children, and the logo is made to appeal to this powerful market. The word Cadbury is written in the company’s distinctive font, a good <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a> move. However, the words ‘crème egg’ are written in a rounded font in all lower case letters, which is appealing to younger markets. The color scheme is primary colors, also designed to appeal to children. The candy retains the British spelling of the word ‘crème’ as a homage to its nation of origin. <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm"title="Marketing Logos" >Marketing</a> solely to its target audience, young children, has made this novelty treat and its logo both winners. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Flake Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Flake-logo-design.jpg" alt="Flake Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> Purple is a color that is commonly associated both with royalty and with artistic tendencies, making it a great color for this logo. The background is yellow, which makes the purple pop that much more. The wording is thin and drawn out so the logo is long, which is appropriate for this long, thin candy favorite. A wavy shape underlines the words, incorporating a feeling of movement. This logo suggests correctly that this candy bar is different from most of its competitors. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Happy Hippo Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Happy-Hippo-logo-design.jpg" alt="Happy Hippo Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This children’s candy bar has a cult-like following among adults as well. This may be due to its superb branding. The happy hippo character has been the subject of children’s books and even short movies. The logo itself is an integral part of the brand, written in bubbly white letters outlined by blue. The water in which the hippo lives is red on the packaging, an unconventional and eye-catching choice that has nonetheless been very successful. A small image of flowers and fruits to the bottom right of the wording is not very relevant to the bar, but still attractive. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Heath Bar Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Heath-Bar-logo-design.jpg" alt="Heath Bar Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> The Heath bar is a favorite all over the word, perhaps in part due to its logo’s appropriate and direct use of color. The brown background of the logo represents the dark chocolate, while the dark gold writing represents the toffee inside. The description of the candy is written in a soothing blue color. The news-like font with sharp serifs combined with the horizontal lines drawn in the background give the impression of a headline, making this candy bar seem momentous and worth talking about. Its popularity worldwide suggests that many people agree with this assessment. </div>
</div>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Junior Mints Logo Design </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/Junior-Mints-logo-design.jpg" alt="Junior Mints Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc"> This minty movie theater favorite was named after a popular play, Junior Miss. However, its popularity outlasted its namesake. The wording is solid and a bright green, which is a calming color that also ties into the candy’s key flavor. A picture of the candy is also included in the logo, along with a mint leaf to drive home the flavor inside. This logo has not changed substantially in decades, suggesting that its simple appeal is enough to get movie-goers to select it out of the packed case of sweets. </div>

<p><strong>Tasty Design: The Top Ten Breakfast Cereal Logos</strong></p>
<p>Why study cereal logos? When it comes to <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo</a> <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a>, breakfast cereals are pulling out all the stops. From bright colors to endorsements from popular characters to constantly new and approved flavors, breakfast cereals must be on top of their game to survive in a market flooded with choices. As you can imagine, the brand logo of a major cereal has to be a masterpiece of good design and subconscious influence. These ten breakfast cereals may not all be the healthiest choice, but when it comes to their logo they are doing everything right.<br />

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Cheerios may not have the most original brand logo, but it is a very appropriate one for this straightforward cereal with multigenerational appeal. The name is displayed in black letters in a simple black font, with a Cheerio dotting the ‘I’, in case you don’t know what this iconic cereal looks like. From this logo alone, it’s easy to see that Cheerios is not one of the bright, sugary cereals that is targeting children, but rather a healthier choice.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Honey Smacks is about as different from Cheerios as one can get, and the brand logo expresses this beautifully. The name is in a bold, golden hue that is reminiscent of honey, while the letters of the word ‘honey’ drip viscously at the bottom. The font is a happy medium, neither a serious one with serifs nor a friendly, rounded one. This cereal logo portrays the flavor it is known for while maintaining a straightforwardness that appeals to parents.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Life is a healthy cereal option that is nonetheless sweet and crunchy enough to appeal to children (like the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-children-logos">top 10 children logos</a>), who are the main target of most breakfast cereals. The brand logo expresses this perfectly in bright, primary colors reminiscent of primary school along with a font that has sharp corners to maintain a little seriousness. The diagonal placement of the logo on the box gives the sense of a headline, adding an air of importance.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This sweet and sassy cereal knows that young people are its main audience, and it really pulls out the stops in making this brand logo appealing to them. The colors are bright and attractive, while pieces of the equally brightly colored cereal make up the ‘O’s’ in the name. The other letters are white, which stands out against a red and yellow background. Red and yellow are both colors that make people feel hungrier, so this color palette is common in the cereal industry and the food industry in general.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Kix is another cereal that has managed to balance a reasonable amount of healthy ingredients that appeal to mothers along with the sweetness and crunch that children want. The brand logo uses a classic, bright blue and bold letters with newsy serifs to show its serious side. A red rectangle below the cereal name holds the cereal tagline: Kid-Tested, Mother Approved. The ‘I’ is dotted with a round cereal piece to tie this healthier, more parent-friendly image in with the product itself. Pleasing both kids and parents is a difficult task, but this logo is a success because it manages to appeal to both groups.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Frooty Pebbles are a cereal that many adults will remember from their childhood. The cereal has long used the once-popular <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/cartoon-character-logo-case-study">cartoon characters</a> from the Flintstones as spokespeople, and the brand logo ties these prehistoric favorites in as well. The letters appear to be carved from rock, which is significant for the Stone Age cartoon. However, it is brightly colored rock that catches the eyes of our youngest consumers. This cereal doesn’t even try to appear healthy, which may be appropriate considering the many sweeteners and artificial colorings that give it its distinctive appearance and taste.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Cinnamon Toast Crunch can be recognized easily even without the box because it has a very different shape from most children’s cereal: a square. A square is a very serious, adult shape, so the brand logo of this cereal needs the lightening up that the primary colors lend. A golden square is in the background, reminding consumers of the element that makes this cereal a little different from its many competitors.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Apple Jacks don’t even taste like apples, but they manage to tie their name into their cereal with a brand logo that relates to both. Instead of the bright colors that dominate the industry, the wording is bold and black with an angle that makes the letters appear to be coming out at the viewer. In the background is a stylized apple as well as a cinnamon stick that communicates the main flavor of this enigmatically named cereal.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
A cereal that looks and tastes like a chocolate chip cookie? Clearly, Cookie Crisp is very different in flavoring and appearance from other cereals. The brand logo does a great job of expressing this difference. Shades of brown express the main ingredient—chocolate chips—while pieces of the cereal itself are used as letters. No attempts are made at a healthy image—and none are needed. The appeal of eating cookies for breakfast is portrayed well enough.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This cereal has a winning brand logo because it shows exactly how this cereal is different from most others. An inclusive circular shape in a healthy blue holds the cereal name in blocky white letters. The circle is serrated to look like a blue ribbon, the symbol of first place. Almonds and honey are in the middle of the circle, showing the two main ingredients in a straightforward way that appeals to adults.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<p>As you can see, even major brands have to use the best principles of branding to tell consumers in a glance about their product. This need is not limited to breakfast cereals, however; every business can benefit from a solid <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/brand-identity-vs-brand-image"title="" >brand image</a> and a logo that compliments it.</p>

<p><strong>Ten Winery Logos That Make You Want to Drink Up</strong></p>
<p>Professional logos are very important to the success of a company, and wineries are no exception. Many wine lovers will try a new wine spontaneously based on the appearance of the bottle alone. Not only is a winery’s logo on the wine bottles, it will also be displayed prominently in <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/advertising-tips-for-your-small-business">advertisements</a>, <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/11-pros-and-cons-of-promoting-your-business-online">promotions</a>, and the winery itself. A winery’s <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logo</a> become synonymous with the brand, and therefore it must be relevant, attractive, and tailored to the special values of the industry. The following list includes ten winery logos that are perfect for the products that they represent.<br />
<span id="more-3179"></span><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Vie Winery Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/vie-winery-logo-design.jpg" alt="Vie Winery Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This winery has chosen to incorporate the meaning of their name along with a few basic design tricks commonly used in professional logos into their name. ‘Vie’ is French for ‘life’ and, appropriately, a tree of life is the most prominent part of the logo. The branches are interwoven to create a Celtic design, which is very trendy right now. Last, the logo is in the shape of a circle, which makes people feel included in a company. Altogether, this company looks like a popular place that is nonetheless inclusive and tradition-based, which is an appropriate image for a winery.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>2. Clif Bar Family Winery Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/clif-bar-family-winery-logo-design.jpg" alt="Clif Bar Family Winery Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
Clif Bar is a company normally known for healthy energy bars, but their expansion into the wine business brought a new dimension to the family business along with a need for a whole new logo. This logo shows a man rock climbing, which is very appropriate for this nature oriented business. Not only is Clif Bar known for catering to an outdoorsy lifestyle, two of their bestselling wines are The Climber Red and The Climber White. This is a good example of successfully and seamlessly incorporating company values into professional logos.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Montana Wines Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/montana-wines-logo-design.jpg" alt="Montana Wines Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
Despite its name, this winery is located far from the Pacific Northwest in New Zealand. However, this winery has chosen to use their logo to communicate a sense of old world tradition and charm, which are both valued in this industry. The logo features a European style crest surrounded by two unicorns, a fantasy image. The crest features both ocean waves and mountains, appropriate for the island nation that this winery calls home. The motto is Latin for ‘In wine, happiness and caring’. This logo is a clear winner among professional logos because it communicates so much in such a small space.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>4. Levendi Winery Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/levendi-winery-logo-design.jpg" alt="Levendi Winery Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This winery’s logo has earned a place among the most artistic and clever professional logos. The design is simply a black ink drawing of a man standing among grape vines on a sunny day. However, the inclusive circle shape is including many times in the logo, from the grapes to the spiral sun. Waves, a symbol of movement and fluidity, make up the man and the plants themselves.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>5. Columbia Winery Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/columbia-winery-logo-design.jpg" alt="Columbia Winery Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This Washington state winery manages to incorporate both old world tradition and a little of the Pacific Northwest into their logo. The logo features the spire of a mission-style building, a throw-back to the California missions where wine became a west coast crop for the first time. However, on top of the weather vane is a moose, a classic symbol of the Northwest. This deserves a spot among the best professional logos for tying their location into their crop’s history.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>6. Fish Eye Wines Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/fish-eye-wines-logo-design.jpg" alt="Fish Eye Wines Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This winery prides itself on being different from the others, with quality wines at a much more affordable price. It deserves a place among the best professional logos because the logo expresses its difference from the others while incorporating several aspects of the name into the logo itself. First, the color is blue, a color traditionally associated with marine life. Second, the ‘s’ spirals at the bottom into a round shape reminiscent of a fish eye. The ‘y’ is designed to look like a fish tail. No one can look at this logo and not see the piscine references throughout.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>7. Ghost Rock Vineyard Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/ghost-rock-vineyard-logo-design.jpg" alt="Ghost Rock Vineyard Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This Australian winery is located at a place named Ghost Rock, a strong place name that has been used both for the winery name and the professional logos. This logo features a black and white design with a lone rock next to a windblown, leaf-less tree. It is just ghostly enough to communicate the name without being too <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-ten-creepy-crawly-logos"title="" >creepy</a> for a mainstream audience.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>8. Fat Cat Wines Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/fat-cat-wines-logo-design.jpg" alt="Fat Cat Wines Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This logo deserves a place among successful professional logos for having a logo that makes people want to buy the wine. The colors are bold and the graphics simple. The name, which denotes a successful person in many English-speaking countries, is playing a piano, adding a touch of class while tapping into the jazz era usage of the word ‘cat’. Just because of its name and its logo, many people will buy this wine as a gift or a novelty item.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>9. Maysara Winery Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/maysara-winery-logo-design.jpg" alt="Maysara Winery Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
Many professional logos use an initial, but few manage to incorporate their business’s purpose into it. Maysara’s logo is a clear winner because its swirling letters are elegant and seamlessly incorporate a bunch of grapes into the letter.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>10. Omaka Springs Estates Logo </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/images/omaka-springs-estates-logo-design.jpg" alt="Omaka Springs Estates Wine Company Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
This winery uses trees in their logo, a common theme in the professional logos of agricultural products. However, Omaka Springs Estates creates symmetry and emphasize the uniqueness of their company by reflecting the tree graphics on the bottom half of the logo. These shadows make the logo fit into a neat, business-like square but also create the illusion of light.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<p>Whether you enjoy the fruits of the vine or prefer to go without, it’s easy to see how these winery logos are helping their businesses find success in a tough market. A good logo is not just visually attractive; it communicates basic facts about your business. Having great products, excellent customer service, and a professional <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >logo design</a>ed by a graphic designer to be appropriate both for your company and your industry can do the same for you.</p>

<p><strong>Drink Up! The Top Ten Beverage Logos and Why You Have Them in Your Refrigerator Right Now</strong></p>
<p>What’s in your glass right now? If you are like many Americans, it is one of the sodas on our top ten logo list. These beverages are well-known not just for their great taste, but for their superior <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >branding</a> and corporate <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drinks logo design</a>. These ten are clear winners not just for their high quality flavors, but for their high quality images.<br />
<span id="more-3159"></span><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>1. Sunkist </span></h3>
<div class="portfolio-image"><img class="image-left float-left" src="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/sunkist-beverage-logo-design1.jpg" alt="Sunkist Beverage Drink Logo Design" /></div>
<div class="portfolio-desc">
The corporate <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >logo design</a> chosen by Sunkist is representative of the company and the image they are trying to portray. The background of the logo is orange, which is tied into the orange color and flavor of the soda. The name of the company is surrounded by blue waves, a refreshing image. The waves at the top wrap into a circle, which ties into the sun in the name of the beverage.
</div>

<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>

<h3><span>2. 7-Up </span></h3>

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This much loved lemon-lime soda has one of the most unchanged and recognizable soft drink logos in the world. It features the name in yellow, a bright color that is also the color of a lemon, and green, a calming, organic color that represents the lime, with a red dot between the numeral seven and the word ‘up’. This dot is meant to represent a bubble, but it is put in an eye catching red color that adds brightness to the overall corporate logo design.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --><br />
<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<div class="portfolio-item">
<h3><span>3. Pepsi Cola </span></h3>

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This logo is a winner because it incorporates so many symbols into one simple logo. First, it is a circle, which is both an inclusive shape and also one that is suggestive of carbonation and bubbles. Second, the logo is red, white, and blue, which is appropriate as Pepsi considers itself an all-American beverage. Last, there is a wave-like shape through the circle, which suggests water, a refreshing image that is likely to be attractive to someone who is picking out a beverage.

<!-- PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>

<h3><span>4. Coca Cola </span></h3>

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This classic soft drink company has perhaps the most recognizable corporate logo design in the world. The logo is currently the company name written in their classic font, in a deep red that has traditionally been associated with the cola flavor. The scrolling letters may not be the most original logo, but they are so recognizable that this company would be foolish to change them now. With billions of people buying into this logo and the product it represents, Coca Cola has a clear winner.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This energy drink does an excellent job of setting itself apart from your average soft drink. First, the corporate logo design has a large ‘M’ that is drawn to appear to be claw marks from the monster that the name refers to. The black background is edgy and stylish, while the bright green accents are in an energetic, neon color. The name is written in white in a distinctive font that has come to be associated with the drink company.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Stewart’s is trying to be and look different from other soft drink companies by focusing on classic flavors and high quality. The logo portrays this with a vintage font and the classic icon of a root beer mug. The colors of burnt sienna and white are retro enough to give the logo some kitsch, making this a highly effective logo for this soft drink company. <div class="portfolio-desc">
This classic sports drink has moved into the twenty-first century with a recognizable logo that attracts both major athletes and amateurs alike. The corporate logo design features the product name in its classic, recognizable font, written in a refreshing green that is reminiscent of grass and greenery. In the background is a bold orange lightning bolt, which is a common symbol of quick bursts of energy. The message is that the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/role-of-sports-logo-design">role of sports logos</a> drink both refreshes and energizes those who choose it, which is exactly what a sports drink company would want people to believe.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
This soft drink, known for its extremely high caffeine content, has decided to make its energizing potential part of its corporate logo design. The name is fitted into a lightning bolt shape, similar to that seen in the logo of rival Gatorade. It is a refreshing green with red accents, adding to the energizing effect. This logo is similar to that of many sports and energy drinks, but it manages to be different by using the lightning bolt as a central figure instead of an accent. <div class="portfolio-desc">
This soft drink company began as a small, Seattle-based beverage that enjoyed much local renown, but wasn’t known outside the area. That, however, has changed. Jones Soda is known for their unusual flavors that are nonetheless simple, bold, and strikingly authentic. The <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/">corporate logo design</a> matches the soda, written in a simple, bold font in black with no graphics whatsoever. Jones knows they can afford to use their logo to put the emphasis on their product.

<h3><span>10. Sierra Mist </span></h3>

<div class="portfolio-desc">
Sierra Mist is a popular lemon-lime soda beverage that is similar to Sprite and 7-Up. However, its <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm">marketing</a> and corporate logo design is very different. The logo features the name written in a fresh green font, with a color suggestive of nature and the outdoors. The word ‘mist’ is written in blurred letters that seem misty, suggesting the very word they spell. This logo design is different from other soft drink logos but still very effective for prospective customers look for a cool, different beverage.
</div>
</div>
<p><!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<p>Some companies make the list because they follow all of the rules of corporate logo design. Others are <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/memorable-logo-icons">memorable logo icons</a> simply because they break the rules. Regardless of the drink, be it ordinary beverages or <a href="http://www.whiskypapa.com/">premium whisky</a>, what is important is that a logo be both appropriate for that drink and memorable enough to be recognized by a large number of people. In the end, a great logo can be the boost a drink needs to climb its way to popularity and develop the customer loyalty it needs.</p>

<p>What exactly makes a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/coffee-shop-logo-design">coffee shop logo</a> or a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/cafe-logos.htm">cafe logo</a> stand out? The answer depends on the coffee shop and the people it is trying to pull in. For some coffee houses, excellence might mean sticking to the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/use-of-color-in-creating-logo-designs">traditional logo colors</a> and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/use-of-symbols-in-logos">motifs</a>. For other companies, having a great logo means breaking every rule. Whatever the case happens to be, each of these coffee shops has a logo that is perfectly, uniquely theirs. Here is a list of the <strong>top ten coffee shop logos</strong> and the special elements that set them apart in a saturated market.<br />

The <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/graphic-web-logos.htm">graphic web logo</a> is an austere black and white with a few red accents. The wings suggest angels and general holiness, plus they are a popular theme in t-shirts and tattoos favored by the hip, modern people who are Intelligentsia’s target audience. The coffee cup in the middle of the wings is stylized enough to be chic without overstating the obvious. The lettering appears rustic and even handmade, which ties in with the boutique nature of the product.

<p>
							Although Starbucks is perhaps the best known coffee vendor in the United States, their logo is one of the most unconventional. The Starbucks logo features a siren centered in a green circle with the companies name in their distinctive font. The reason Starbucks’ logo is so unique is that it manages to tie in with the company’s history without resorting to traditional symbols associated with coffee. The graphic logo’s siren is a symbol often associated with maritime careers, as is the Moby Dick <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/mascot-samples-2.htm">character</a> that the coffee shop is named after. The siren’s sexuality is minimized by the logo’s focus on her upper body, and the brown logo was changed to green to connote freshness and calm (read more about the <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-logo-makeovers">logo makeover</a>).

<p>While these are very different companies, there are a few common themes. First, if a graphic is used in the logo, it is a graphic that is related either to the coffee industry or to the company itself. Nothing is random. Second, the coffee shops use color to either stir up images of the traditional or to set themselves apart as unique and new. Third, many companies have values that are different from the mainstream corporate entity, and these companies use their logos to express these differences. The most important aspect of a coffee shop logo isn’t whether it obeys the rules or breaks them; it is whether the logo suits that business and its community. </p>

<p>A collection of the top 10 pizza companies and their <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >logo design</a>s. Almost everyone loves pizza and there are great pizza franchises round every corner. If you are in the market for pizza logos or any type of <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/business-consultant-logos.htm"title="Small Business Consultant Logo" >small business</a> logo design, you are probably interested in how some of the nation’s most popular pizza <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/restaurant-logos.htm">restaurants</a> have had success in creating logos that work. The most amazing part of these pizza logos is that, however different they may be, they all do an excellent job of representing their <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food company</a>.</p>
<p>This week we take a look at the top 10 pizza companies and their company logos. If you would like to pitch in with your own recommendations, please do leave a comment in a similar format as you see below. You can even use the &#8220;img src=&#8221; code to show the logo. The logo has to be 250px wide and 150px high.<br />

<p><strong>Common Threads</strong></p>
<p>As you can see, the most successful pizza logos incorporate several key elements. First, red is used because it is similar to the red sauce for which pizza is known. Second, many of them include elements that represent elements of their name, such as the red roof of Pizza Hut or the medieval flags of Round Table. While a logo with a pizza could be used for any pizza company, these logos are uniquely and recognizably theirs. All of these lessons can be used in small business logo design to help you and other people who are interested in creating logos settle on a design that works.</p>

<span id="more-2061"></span><br />
The AGCO <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food logo design</a> is a simple <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/iconic-logos-vs-illustrative-logos">iconic logo</a> that shows a triangle/pyramid shape with serrations that are link paths or roads in diagonally. The logo color used to be orange but has now been changed to maroon. With the tagline &#8220;You Agricultural Company&#8221;, AGCO has been servicing the agricultural industry since 1990.</p>
<p>I really do not like this logo since it does not relate to agriculture or agriculture equipment. Neither the logo color, the shape of the icon or the font treatment do justice to the brand. The road or paths that were draw diagonally do indicate progress does not really indicate progress. It would have been better for a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/travel-transport-logos.htm">travel or transport logo</a>. A pyramid or triangular icon would better suit a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/finance-logos.htm">finance logo design</a>.</p>
<p>We have created <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/food-drink-logos.htm">food and drink logos</a> for various clients and have also worked for an agricultural company logo.</p>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>What do you need to run a successful coffee shop? Many people would give answers such as a coffee machine, espresso beans, or employees, but a well designed <strong>coffee shop logo</strong> or any <strong><a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/restaurant-logos.htm">restaurant logo</a></strong> is just as important. <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com">Company logos</a> tell your customers who you are, how you run your business, and what your mission is. Because everyone recognizes the Starbucks logo, I will use it as an example of a <strong>coffee shop logo</strong> that works.<br />
<span id="more-2000"></span><br />
<strong>Shape</strong>. This <strong>coffee shop logo</strong> has a round shape, which gives people a subconscious feeling of unity and inclusiveness. Most people want to feel warmed and nurtured by their coffee, so company logos with a round shape or at least one with rounded edges will attract them most. Logo artists can design the round iconic logo so your eye is drawn either to the graphic, or in the case of Starbucks, to the company name. </p>
<p><strong>Readability</strong>. The company name in this <strong>coffee shop logo</strong> is prominently displayed in a plain, easily readable font. That’s probably why everyone in the United States knows the name. All company logos should include the business’s name in a bold, dominant font. Starbucks takes this a step further by using a different color background for the name than for the image. Because the name is bright green, the customer’s eye is drawn to it rather than to the black and white siren image.</p>
<p><strong>Color</strong>. The <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/use-of-color-in-creating-logo-designs">green logo color</a> is calming and at the same time suggests freshness, which is one of Starbucks’ core values. Many coffee shops and <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/cafe-logos.htm">cafe logos</a> use green for their coffee shop logo, but there are other effective options. Some company logos use shades of brown, which is the color of a coffee bean. Interestingly, the original Starbucks logo was a chocolate brown. A qualified <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/logo-design-team.htm">logo artist</a> will be able to help you decide what color speaks the most about your company and your values. Check out a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/langano-juice-coffee-logo-design">juice shop logo</a> that we created for a client.</p>
<p><strong>Use of graphics</strong>. Graphics make a <strong>coffee shop logo</strong> more memorable and give your company a face that customers can remember and identify. The siren who is the mascot of Starbucks is a good example. Few people consciously notice the siren centered in the middle of the Starbucks logo, because she is positioned in a way to downplay the sexuality normally associated with sirens. However, the logo would not be as complete or as recognizable without this image. Company logos are generally more successful when an attractive image takes center stage. Check out a <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/top-10-eco-friendly-company-logos">eco friendly logo</a> we created for a cafe client.</p>
<p><strong>Consistency</strong>. The Starbucks coffee shop logo is recognizable at least in part because it is everywhere. From signage to cups to décor, company logos should be printed on every available surface for maximum effect. The more customers see a coffee shop logo in connection with the coffee shop itself, the more they will identify the logo with the business and the experience. Check out how somebody <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/starbucks-vs-shangai-xingbake">copied the Starbucks logo</a>.</p>
<p>There is a lot to be learned from this design, which showcases how a logo artist can design company logos to express more than words alone could say. Would Starbucks be as successful without its recognizable coffee shop logo? We’ll never know for sure, but the logo definitely helped define the company in the eyes of customers and the community.</p>

<h2>Top 10 Hottest Coffee Shop Logos</h2>

The coffee cup in the middle of the wings is stylized enough to be chic without overstating the obvious. The lettering appears rustic and even handmade, which ties in with the boutique nature of the product.

<div class="portfolio-desc">
<p>

<!-- END OF PORTFOLIO ITEM ENTRY --></p>
<p>While these are very different companies, there are a few common themes. First, if a graphic is used in the logo, it is a graphic that is related either to the coffee industry or to the company itself. Nothing is random. Second, the coffee shops use color to either stir up images of the traditional or to set themselves apart as unique and new. Third, many companies have values that are different from the mainstream corporate entity, and these companies use their logos to express these differences. The most important aspect of a coffee shop logo isn’t whether it obeys the rules or breaks them; it is whether the logo suits that business and its community. </p>

<p>In case you’re tempted to add a little green circle in your <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/"title="Logo Design" >logo design</a>, you should think twice before doing it.</p>
<p>Coffee giant Starbucks has issued a warning to a local shop in Mt. Clemens, Michigan for allegedly infringing its <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/how-to-trademark-a-logo-design">design trademark</a>. In a legal letter issued by a legal firm on behalf of Starbucks, it claims that the logo design of Conga Cofee &amp; Tea has a &#8220;striking resemblance&#8221; to the famous coffee shop and it is &#8220;likely to cause consumers to think that Conga is an authorized licensee of Starbucks.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to the Conga’s owner Michael Dregiewicz, the estimated expenses for changing its logo would amount to at least $5,000. He would have to change everything from the napkins to the store signage.</p>

<p>While Starbucks’ popular logo shows a siren in the middle of the green circle, Conga depicts an elephant inside the green circle. Starbucks is no stranger to trademark infringement. You might remember our post in May about its legal scuffle against <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/starbucks-vs-shangai-xingbake">Shanghai Xingbake Café</a> in China.</p>
<p>Although it’s not clear who’s right in this issue and people in the blogoshepere have contrasting opinions, what is very clear in this debate are these:</p>
<ol>
<li>A professional logo design backed with a solid legal research will save your <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/business-consultant-logos.htm"title="Small Business Consultant Logo" >small business</a> from any infringement and expenses.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/branding.htm"title="Branding" >Branding</a> is a necessity even for small businesses. There are still some entrepreneurs who remain hesitant to allocate money on branding campaigns without realizing its benefits over the long run.</li>
<li>It is your responsibility to protect your logo design, brands, company slogan, and other <a href="http://www.logodesignworks.com/marketing-logos.htm"title="Marketing Logos" >marketing</a> materials with trademarks to avoid any legal battles in the future</li>
</ol>
