Adept Technology, Inc. located in Livermore, California (San Francisco Bay Area) and services industrial automation and robotics, including software and vision guidance. Adept has offices throughout the United States as well as in Dortmund, Germany, Paris, France, and Singapore. Adept is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ.
The Adept Information Technology logo design is a simple font based logo that has the letters adept in small case. Each of the letters cuts into the next creating a kind of architectural/engineering/blue print kind of look and feel.
Adept Technology Company is active in a variety of industries requiring high speed, precision part handling including food handling, consumer product and electronics, packaging, medical and lab automation, automotive, as well as emerging markets like solar manufacturing. So the logo design is quite fitting in the sense of the manufacturing logo feel to it. The cool blue color of the technology company logo design also adds to the effect and over all I found the logo to be quit effective. It is simple yet powerful.
Adept Technology Inc., recently updated their logo design by removing the various cutting lines between the letters making the logo even simpler. The logo color seems to be the same though. They have also come into the Web 2.0 Logo Design style by casting a reflection below the logo on their website. Since the company deals in robotics, I would have thought that the previous logo design would have been a better option. But I am sure a huge technology company such as Adept knows what they are doing in terms of their company branding.
