Announcing the Carnival of Small Business and Startups
This blog’s emphasis to date has been on entrepreneurship and small business. Discussion of the needs of business startups is something we are are also including in our topic categories. All three share a lot of related issues, being essentially at an early stage that could lead to becoming a corporation. As such, to promote relevant articles, we are launching the Carnival of Small Business and Startups.
The type of articles accepted have anything to do with small business, entrepreneurship, and startups. There’s also a “business travel” category, if you have relevant articles. The rules are simple:
- One article per edition. We’ll do our best to include as many entries in each edition as possible and will only refuse an entry for the following reasons:
- Non-English (sorry).
- A scraped entry (i.e., passing off someone else’s work as your own).
- Irrelevant to the topics.
- Multiple submissions in a single edition.
- Refusal to link to a previous edition that you already appeared in. Linking back helps promote the carnival, and its value will be understood if you decide to host the carnival in the future.
- Expected frequency: weekly.
- Hosting: The carnival will be hosted here but will be open to other hosts 1-2 times per month starting in late August.
The first edition will be posted on Mon July 23rd. The deadline is Fri July 20th, 11:00 pm EST. You can use the BlogCarnival submission form to enter. Please use a real email address as we may ask for a confirmation of your entry, and other hosts may do so as well.
