Designing your
Louisiana logo design is a fun and creative process. If you are a business located in Louisiana, it is important that you are able to associate your business with your state. You may find that consumers are more willing to use you, as they trust local state businesses and companies. Consumers also like to know that their hard earned money is being put back into their state.
There are various features throughout Louisiana that will help to attribute your business with the state. The most significant feature in Louisiana is the people of the state. There are various cultures from the non-Anglo Creole to the French-speaking Cajun. The people who inhabited Louisiana came from various countries including France, Germany, Spain, West Africa and Canada. There is also a Spanish-descended group of people called Islenos and migrated from the Canary Islands.
The main agricultural outputs in Louisiana are seafood, cotton, soybeans, cattle, sugarcane, poultry, eggs, dairy products and rice. Louisiana is the largest producer of crawfish in the world. Tourism is also a large industry in Louisiana, but the tourism has dropped since Hurricane Katrina destroyed most of New Orleans and the city is slowing growing and rebuilding.
The Louisiana Superdome is presently one of the best symbols in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the Superdome was used as a shelter until it too had to be evacuated. The Superdome was under six feet of water for months and the roof had a hole torn in it. The Superdome has been rebuilt earlier than expected. The roof was fixed and the walls received new paint and a new field was laid down. The New Orleans Saints were able to have their first home game back in the Superdome on a Monday Night and the dome was filled with excitement and emotion as the Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons by 20 points. The dome has become a huge symbol in the city that many thought would never be rebuilt.
The colors of Louisiana are very natural. From the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the red crawfish served at dinner, there are various colors throughout the cities of Louisiana. The people are very eclectic and often wear Mardi Gras beads in various colors including purple, gold, green and red. The city is vibrant with color and art.
Combining state features and colors helps to brand the business with the state that they are located in. Consumers from nearby states will often be influenced by these designs as well. Using these features helps to not only brand your business but to show that you are native to the state of Louisiana and that you associate yourself with the state.
