Nevada Logo Design:
Nevada is a large and unique state and there are many ideas to draw logo designs from in the state. The state is most notable for its legalized gambling and large casino cities, which allow for the state to have so many interesting features that other states do not. The state in general is also very beautiful with many desserts and mountains. Consumers in Nevada will appreciate a logo design that is unique to the state in concept and design.
Nevada is broken into several mountain ranges and desserts. The state is also bordered by the Colorado River and Hoover Dam. The largest mountain range in Nevada is the Spring Mountains and they run just south of Las Vegas. The southern part of the state is located in the Mojave Dessert. Occasionally this area gets a blanket of snow from Arizona, but this dessert is mostly known for being hot in the days and very cold at night. There are several national parks in the state and they include the Death Valley National Park and the Great Basin National Park. The history of Nevada traces back to the Comstock Lode in 1859, during which there was a huge gold and silver rush. Numerous prospectors and miners flooded to the state in search of gold and silver. Gambling was also common in the times of Nevada’s mining era, but gambling was outlawed in a nationwide anti-gambling crusade in 1920. The mining decreased so drastically during this period that Nevada re-legalized gambling again in 1931. Hence, the famous gambling cities still prevail to this day. Gambling is a huge source of income for the state along with the tourism that provides the cash. These are prominent features in Nevada’s history as well as Nevada today.
Nevada does have some agricultural outputs including cattle, hay, onions and potatoes. However, the state is most notably known for its large tourism industry that has created huge casinos in the cities of Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. There are also several small cities on the outskirts of Las Vegas including Henderson and Laughlin that are popular spots for gambling. The nightlife in Las Vegas is also big with most casinos having large bars and wild nightlife. The city is a huge destination for celebrities looking to party. Nevada is also the only state to have legalized prostitution and that only adds to the states “sinful” reputation. These are great subjects to focus on while designing a unique Nevada logo design.
