New Mexico is a very unique state with many features that would be excellent for use in your New Mexico logo design. The state has a Native American population of over 134,000. There are also various symbols of the southwest in the cities including strings of chili peppers and cow skulls.
Albuquerque is one of the largest cities in the state and features several natural history museums and atomic museums. The city also hosts the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. This festival draws several hot air balloon enthusiasts from around the world during the first week of October. The festival is ten days long and features over 750 hot air balloons from all over the world and the US.
New Mexico also draws a large number of skiers in the winter months. Taos, Red River and Angelfire draw a large number of visitors to the state. There are also several other tourist sites that make New Mexico famous including the Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumner, Roswell UFO landing site and International UFO Museum, and the Pinos Altos near Silver City. The Pinos Altos “ghost town” was a gold mining town in the 1800s and 1900s. The town and several of its buildings are said to be haunted including one and a bar. There was also a floating “light” in the area, but it has not been seen recently due to lights from new housing and traffic.
The state flag of New Mexico could also be easily incorporated into a logo design as the flag is bright yellow with a red Native American sun in the middle. Many variations of this design has been used in logos. The design could be made unique to your business’ New Mexico logo design.
