Branding in a rural state such as Wyoming is important. Small states are difficult to market in as the community tends to be very traditional. They tend to stick to businesses that are well established in the community. A new business must provide a new advertising plan that shows the business cares about the community and can identify with it. Using the natural features of the state and the state’s industry are great ways to build credibility with the community.
